The only VESA mount solution for HP monitors
There is a world-wide standard for mounting monitors to stands or arms. It's called the VESA standard. Everybody who is anybody follows it.Except HP. Because HP is too important to follow ANYONE's standards. Just ask HP.So what do you need to do if you need to mount a HP adapter on a VESA arm? Well, you buy this adapter. (Or, depending on what exact HP monitor model you have, one of a handful of other very similar mounting adapters.)I'll be blunt, it's a bit of a fiddle to get installed, and it's not quite as stable as it could be. But honestly, that's HP's fault for not providing proper VESA mount points like, you know, almost everyone else in the world does, from ASUS to Philips to AOC to Westinghouse to...Also, the screws supplied to attach the mount adapter to your VESA mounting device are a little on the small side. But that's a solvable problem, just buy four of your own screws in a more appropriate size depending on what you're mounting to.The important thing is, this works, and if you have no choice but to use a HP monitor, this will let you attach it to any VESA mount. Just be aware that since it attaches to the HP monitor's stand lug, you cannot use this VESA adapter and your original HP stand at the same time, so you cannot use it to mount, say, a VESA-mount thin client on your monitor while still using the stand. If you need to do something like that, the truth is you shouldn't have bought a HP monitor in the first place.

Excellent customer service!
***UPDATE***- The manufacturer ended up contacting me regarding these concerns. After some discussion, they determined my failure to be a manufacturing defect. A completely new adapter was shipped to me to replace the bad one. Upon opening the adapter, I noticed a few different variances from the original model. The grey insert (that failed before) seems to be made of a different and more durable material. Additionally, the post that holds the monitor to the bracket appears to have been shortened and widened. Whatever the reasons for these changes, the bracket feels significantly stronger than the previous one. It does not exhibit any signs of flexing or buckling under the weight of the monitor. Their customer service team was very responsive and helpful once they got in touch, and I would very happily order from this company again.Original Review-Installed this bracket with no issues in September 2018. The monitor was not moved or touched since then. In February 2019, I noticed severe sagging on the monitor. When I disassembled the bracket, I discovered the internal gray plastic piece that connects the monitor to the adapter was completely split in half, and shattered on each end. It was not supporting any of the monitor weight, and the monitor could have slipped off if I had not noticed.I reached out to the manufacturer for support regarding this issue, and received no response. Very disappointed, as this appeared to initially be a great solution.

Works well - Does exactly what they said with minimal fuss.
Been meaning to write this for a while. I use this with an HP27F monitor mounted in portrait mode, with a dual VESA monitor stand which also holds an LG 4K monitor - This allowed me to get some extra use out of the HD HP monitor (quite a bit less resolution than the LG!) as a reference monitor. Read some of the reviews on here about screwing it into the back of the monitor - not really sure what they did, but mine went on the little extension that the stock monitor stand mounts to - You just have to remove the stock stand - and it secures with a screw. Instructions are given for defeating the stock tilting feature of the monitor, but I did not do this.Has some instability- more the function of the monitor than this adapter, or of the cheap dual VESA stand I bought. Here is a hint - Buy very good monitor stands - pay a little more. Probably if I defeated the tilting feature, would work better. There is also a threaded stud that comes up through the "top" that could have a nut on it, and add to stability - none of the nuts seemed to fit, but it just requires a trip to the hardware store. In short, if you want a VESA stand for this monitor - a great way to go without having to take the monitor apart and drill holes.

Great Item!
I was trying to mount a Samsung 25" monitor and found it didn't have the screw holes on the back. I did a quick search on here and found this. Great job. Easy to install and it feels very sturdy.
