Nice, lined pants with the perfect sized pocket for phone
So, what I liked is that they fit well, they are lined, but not too heavily, so I can wear them all day here in the Upper Midwest, not just when outside in the cold. They seem to be wearing well, the front pockets are deep, maybe a little narrow on the bottom. The phone pocket is nicely placed, and deep enough to contain a modern, larger phone; this pocket has no closure, but again, because of its placement and depth, I've not experienced any loss or concerns about losing my phone or any other object I've placed in it. It's so sleek, you barely notice the pocket is there. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that they should have put a similar pocket on the other side. This works well for a right handed person, but maybe a left handed person would prefer that phone pocket to be on the left side. Also, as a work pant, the second pocket would come in handy to hold my laser measuring tool, screwdrivers, or other small hand tools for momentary use. Last, it says the pants are flannel lined. However, the liner is polyester, not cotton, and I'm not familiar with non-cotton flannel. That's like calling a flat rock you can skip on water a boat. Also, the liner seems to be attached to the pant material, it doesn't hang like a separate layer like in similar flanned or other lined pants I own. Yet, I like the light weight of the liner and pants, they are still warmer when woring in the garage or walking outdoors on a mild winter day - 20 degrees (F) or higher. Last, I thought these were quite a bit pricier than the competitors, but paid up for them to see what they were like. I do like them, but would be in the market again if the prices get in line with other similar brands of lined pants, like Wrangler or Lee. I have other Carhartt work pants, unlined, and they are similar in price to the Wrangler workwear, so I was surprised that these were a goo $20+ more than their counterparts in other brands. A good buy would be $40.

Super Comfortable, True to Size
I made the mistake of ordering 1 waist size larger based on all the other reviews and now my pants are little large for me. I have placed them in hot dryer twice, which reduced the waist some. Doing so, of course, also shrunk the length and leg width. The pants were definitely longer than size and pretty generous in the leg, so this shrinkage was welcomed. The pants are not as heavy as I anticipated (or hoped), but they are really comfortable and have been adequate to keep me warm working outside in the low 40's. The cotton pant with fleece lining feels more like wearing heavy cotton sweatpants, but warmer (so also great for knocking around the 67 degree house). The Carhartt canvas certainly blocks the wind, aiding to the warmth when outside.I am a lean, athletic guy (cyclist) and the fit is great. These pants have a perfect rise, crotch room and a leg cut (I'd call it a straight leg) that is comfortable but not baggy and offers a bit of stretch when getting the work done. While I was hoping for something little heavier and warmer, these comfortable pants have become my go-to for this winter.

Comfort Fit and Looks
My favorite winter pants they’re great quality super comfortable they look great . Like others said they are warm without being hot indoors. I went down a size in length as other reviewers recommended and it was the right call. These 30” lengths fit like 32” length.

Not The Canvas We Know - Good pants...
I LOVE my Carhartt Rigby non-insulated pants. These insulated variants are not the same thick canvas. The lining is very nice. I washed them and dried on regular heat and they did not shrink. I'm 34x34 but my last Carhartts in that size were too big. I went with 33x34 on these and they are just slightly tight. I'm betting with time they may stretch a little. I added a second button on the waist to make them slightly larger at the waist. They are good - maybe the price is little much for what you get. I do love the cell phone pocket. These will be perfect for exercising out in the cold.

Good pants for a fair price
I use these to ride in the cooler winter months. Sizing is spot on and the fit is great.

Size runs small; order one size larger.
Warm pants...but the size runs small; I had to order up one size.

Nice and comfortable.
He loves them. They’re not to heavyweight in the lining. The lining is also soft to touch. The outer material is nice and pliable, not what you think, canvas pant style. He wishes there were more colors.

You take your chances on size when you order
Like many other reviewers, I found the trousers nowhere close to the size on the label. In my case (ordered 34 x 32) the waist fit okay, but the inseam was at least 2" longer than 32". I tried laundering the trousers in hot water and drying in a hot dryer, but there was no appreciable shrinkage. Since I don't feel like I could count on a pair labeled as 34 x 30 fitting correctly (and since I had washed the pants) I decided to shorten and re-hem the legs so that they fit correctly. I ended up removing 1 1/2" from the legs.As far as the trousers go, they are all right. The fleece isn't quite as thick as I had expected, but it's close enough. There is what I've always considered a change or key pocket above the right pocket which is very narrow and very deep - you'd practically have to take the pants off and shake them while upside down to get coins from the bottom. I'm not sure what CarHartt was thinking with that design. And the phone pocket would be more practical and useful if it were inside the fleece rather than outside - extreme cold can damage cell phone batteries. But other than that the pants fit the bill for working outside on cold days.
