This book truly reflects what Laurie Baker is all about. The reason I state this because it's now always in my mind to build my own ecofriendly home, that's the kind of influence this book has made. Thankfull to the author for such a book which will always help people who are lost in concrete jungles to return to mother nature.

Content wise it is more than satisfactory, summarised beautifully by author, the Architect's philosophy strives for humanity and environmentalism. Laurie Baker is not something just to look past anyway, recommend to every architecture students, architects and enthusiasts.The only downside for me was the grammar check, few spells were missing and the product print was super light, even the covers. So the rating was solely based on the physicality of the product, not the content.

One of the best books which can share the simplicity principles of Mr. Baker in a very simple and pleasant manner...Recommend to everyone who loves simple living and is planning of constructing his/her home...

If you are an architecture student then this book is a must read. It doesn't have a lot about architecture techniques but more of bakers life and his decisions in life.
