My curly hair can be very picky about product and some can cause the curl to drop or be frizzy and dry, but this stuff is amazing. I don't give five stars lightly, but this rich and creamy shampoo has left my hair moisturised and smooth, but with excellent curl definition, highlighting the natural ringlets. Ordered for my son who has curly hair. The shampoo has a pleasant smell that isn't overpowering. He said this is one of the better ones he has tried, which is high praise from a sulky teenager!It is a little bit on the expensive side but doesn't leave hair dry like some other brands we have tried.

I was excited to try Garnier Method For Curls Shampoo, which promises up to 72 hours of moisture. Having curly hair and loosely following the CGM (Curly Girl Method), I was intrigued, though I do sometimes use silicones as they seem to work better for my hair type.The shampoo comes in an attractive lime green 200ml bottle and is sulphate and silicone-free. It’s marketed as a step 1 product, to be used after step 0, though the concept of step 0 wasn’t clearly explained. Better instructions would have been helpful, particularly guidance on whether a pre-poo, oil treatment, or pre-shampoo step is recommended.The shampoo itself is thick and smells lovely, but I found the texture too dense. It tended to sit in one area of my scalp, meaning I had to apply more product to other sections and dilute it with water to distribute it properly. For a CGM-friendly shampoo, the lather was decent, and I let it sit for a bit before rinsing.Despite my efforts, I wasn’t sure if I’d rinsed it out completely due to the heavy texture. While my scalp felt clean enough, the shampoo didn’t enhance my curls or add definition. My middle-length, fine 3A curls felt weighed down, and it didn’t add any shine.I wanted to love this shampoo, especially given the sleek packaging and its CGM-friendly claims, but it isn’t one I’d rush to repurchase.

Garnier products have mostly caused my scalp to itch but not this. This shampoo leaves my hair fully cleansed, softened and smelling really nice. It's great for my curls and I fell that, without having to use styling products, it's leaving me with more defined curls. It also has a really lovely scent to it.

Hyaluronic acid and shea butter work wonders for moisture and definition. Smells amazing and feels gentle on the scalp. No sulphates, no silicones, and vegan-friendly, which is a big plus.

Really nice curly hair shampoo - very effective in getting rid of any product build up on the hair for a sulfate free shampoo. Kind to curly hair and doesn't leave it feeling super dry.Nice smell but doesn't have a particularly strong fragrance.I've been using it for myself and the kids and it's worked well on all our hair (we all have wavy or curly hair) in getting it clean without stripping it or making it too dry.I think the price is really reasonable for a curly hair shampoo.
