The parts easily come apart, but there is no manual available. It came with a card to visit the resource center to download product and study guides, but again there is not one available for this model. I guess this is really a test of my anatomy skills. I think for the price a manual should clbe available to study with and put the pieces back together.

The muscles are held on by magnets and can be easily removed/replaced to view all the structures. Also the jaw articulates with a silicone disc and so you can visualize movement of the jaw.

Life size head that is incredibility detailed. Muscles are removable & held in with magnets. The skull itself is pretty good. Anatomy is accurate enough. The muscles of mastication being present are useful to help garner a better idea of their origins, insertions, and how they aid mandibular elevation, depression, excursives. However, not all the foramina are fully open, and the moving the jaw to the full range of motion is difficult and not fully accurate. This would be difficult to do on any skull. Overall, good purchase.

I get how cool this could be in theory however the construction is flawed. It is held together by small magnets. unfortunately after about 3 days, those magnets started to weaken and now non of the pieces remain in place so the skull is literally falling apart. Very disappointed

I am OBSESSED.I love the size, this is great for classroom or education purposes as well as any Hamlet productions.The quality feels very nice and appropriately durable, it is not intended to be thrown around, but it does feel like it could handle a classroom environment.The appearance is lovely, it is very photogenic, I especially like that the teeth are a different material from the rest of the skull bone.The muscles are a weird shade of brown and are attached with magnets. While the muscles are numbered, I did not find any instructions on how to attach them and some fell off as I was unwrapping them so it’s a bit of a mystery especially since each muscle is not a mirror image of the other. For me personally that is not a big deal because the muscles sort of weird me out, and I plan on using it as a photo prop, so I am not concerned with that.The price is a little high for a skull, but the quality makes it feel worth it.Overall, I love it.
