This is so pretty funny when it arrived I set it up the globs inside were half way up glass turned it on it went to unusual square box shapes beautiful after a while went back to normal brill. 👍🤡😂

The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately I’ve received a faulty lava lamp. After over 5 hours the wax remained at the bottom of the bottle. The unit got very hot so it wasn’t due to lack of heat. I’ve re ordered based on reviews that say this lamp is very good , I’ve also seen that the problem I’ve got is not unique. I will update once I’ve received and tried the replacement.UPDATE...I decided to change the bulb and left it on for around 3 hours and suddenly it burst into life! See added photos. I cancelled replacement and I'm enjoying my beautiful lava lamp. I don't know if the bulb was the issue but it's working and that's the main thing. This lamp is very pretty, I'm pleased I persevered with it. So, I would recommend this. It's possible that initial operation takes longer than it should due to the density of the wax??

quality, great effect ,nice design.

Bought this for my daughter. The Mathmos lamps are just too expensive.It is well made with some weight to it and takes about 30 minutes to completely melt the wax.We have cycled it at least 20 times and the liquid has remained clear and the wax has kept its colour & vibrancy.Really happy with it.

Don't get me wrong - this is a beautiful lamp. The problem is that the life of the lamp depends completely on the life of the bulb. This is the second one I ordered from the company. When the bulb went on the first one, I ordered another bulb, but when I came to change it, I realised that the bulb itself had separated from its screw-in base, meaning that I had to use pliers to release it. When I did this, I saw that the underneath part was scorched, and - needless to say - the new bulb didn't work. Because I liked the lamp so much, I ordered another, putting the fault down to bad luck. Now, however, exactly the same thing has happened with the replacement lamp. I wanted to contact the seller before writing an uncomplimentary review, but unfortunately Amazon didn't provide me with the opportunity. Therefore, I feel I ought to share the experience with potential buyers, in case, on top of the inconvenience and the wasted money, these lamps are potentially dangerous.

Ordered as a Santa present for my little one, absolutely loves it and and uses it every night. Had a small issue that the company had sorted in less than a week. Excellent communication and service. Fully recommend.
