I working from home sometimes, and with a busy family, I often work with ear buds in to stay focused. Unfortunately, that meant that I couldn't hear when my husband or kids came in, so they would tap my shoulder or wave in the corner of my eye. I would scream and they would scream and then I'd have to change my underwear. I drew the line when the dog snuck up on me and I accidentally elbowed her, though. The look of betrayal finally forced my hand. I started looking for a background mirror and found this one. Since I installed it, we've all been fine. No screaming. No peeing myself. No shortening the dog's schnoz. I definitely recommend it if you spend any amount of time with your back to a door. It's safer for everyone.

My desk is against a wall in the corner leaving my back to two doors that lead into my office and it drives me nuts. I've had other mirrors on my desk that mostly took up room and looked out of place, such as the round makeup mirrors used primarily in bathrooms. Then I came across these mirrors and they are awesome. I bought two just because my office is large and I have two doors on adjacent walls, but I probably could've gotten away with just one mirror. I also wear headphones a lot so I also can't hear what's behind me, so perhaps I'm extra paranoid. Either way, these mirrors cover all the angles, were easy to install, are of nice quality, nice and clear, easy to install, and seem like they will hold up for a while. Also, I did not want to stick these to my nice wood desk, so I stuck them on heavy coasters and they're working just fine.

I just started working in a cubicle where the computer is opposite the cubicle opening. I kept hearing people walking behind me but didn’t want to keep turning around. I put this on my computer and now I can see people walking behind me and unbeknownst to me they all look at me as they pass by. How long have they been looking at me without me knowing? One will never know but now they see me watching them watching me.

Love this! My desk at work faces a wall with a door behind me. I'm not fond of being startled so I got this mirror. Not only does it let me see what's going on it is always a conversation starter with co-workers and other visitors getting a kick out of it. Definitely glad I got it 😃

No more people sneaking up on you in your office/cubicle. Easy to apply with the included bracket and adhesive strips. Wide angle view.The reflection is slightly distorted due to the uneven surface but it doesn’t need to be perfect for my use case.

Scratches very easily.
