Couldn't beat it for the price

I am pleased to receive a rebate of taxes and duties! This is my travel computer and it is serving my needs quite well.

Laptop does what it is supposed to do. Fast reliable and lots of memory.

I bought this laptop during prime deal days. The product was shipped and delivered as expected, and I was super excited to begin using this laptop for homeschooling purposes. I ordered the 32GB Ram with 1Tb SSD with 500GB external hard drive. I did not receive the external hard drive that was promised in the listing. Instead, there was a card with a QR code on it for a link that implied that you should have added the external drive to your Amazon order in order to receive it with your order. I filled out the information that they asked for, but I still have not received a response from the seller.When I opened up the laptop I was shocked at how flimsy it felt. Never the less, I continued with the set up process. After setting up the laptop, I went to the Lenovo website to register the it. This is where things began to get strange. The laptop's warranty had already started on 7/25/24. How was that possible? I then looked up the specs via the serial number on the Lenovo website. It stated that the laptop should have had 4GB Ram and 128GB SSD. I then checked how much storage was actually on the laptop. There was 32GB Ram and 1TB SSD installed. That would imply that the seller opened up the laptop and installed new Ram and SSD. This has in turn voided out the warranty. I researched this model and it was only meant to support a max of 16GB of Ram. And while having higher Ram installed would seem to be a good thing it could eventually lead to the system crashing in a short amount of time.This is clearly a misrepresentation of the product. I do not trust this seller. How do I know what kind of ssd and Ram they put in this laptop. I requested a refund, but I will have to pay for the return shipping, and I will be charged a restocking fee.I contacted Amazon to dispute the situation before I send the laptop back to the seller to ask them if they will refund the amount that the seller will charge for a restocking fee. They said that I have to wait to see what the seller does after I complete the return process. I will be sending it back tomorrow.Do not buy this laptop. The company is buying cheap computers, changing out the components, and selling them as original from the manufacturer at a higher price than it is worth.

I’ve been using this Lenovo laptop for a few months now, and I love it. Whether I’m working, browsing, or streaming, it handles everything smoothly without any hiccups. The battery life is impressive—I can go most of the day without needing to charge it. I also appreciate how lightweight it is, making it easy to carry around between meetings or when I travel. If you need something reliable for everyday tasks, this laptop definitely delivers!

My old HP gave up the ghost, so I was looking for something that would work well now and for the future. This Lenovo was just what I needed regarding speed and storage. Thanks for being in stock. Would recommend it.

I bought this computer specifically to take on vacation to edit photos. The computer does that perfectly. The seller followed through and completed the order by shipping the missing items. Everything worked out and I am perfectly happy!

Update: I"m updating this review and reducing it from 3 to 2 stars. I registered the product online with Lenovo, and they show that my warranty is only 8 months instead of 12. I've been on 2 different chats with them for over two hours. They implied that Amazon was selling this as used or refurbished. I saw no reference to that on the Amazon listing, and I still don't. If it's Amazon's fault they should remedy the situation and be clear about what is being sold. Finally finished the chat with Lenovo and they have agreed to extend the warranty to a full year but what a pain! Original Review: I got this for my wife for her birthday, as she was needing something bigger than her little tablet to enjoy connecting with folks via Zoom. Besides being able to Zoom, she had 2 important asks. One was for the touch screen, which, though great to get in this size computer at this price, is only of "fair" resolution. The big disappointment was that there is NOT A BACKLIT KEYBOARD. I had researched that in the Product Description and could not find anywhere that indicated whether there was or wasn't that feature. However, in the Answered Questions section, I did find at least 3 replies from Lenovo Representatives saying definitively that it was shipped with a backlit keyboard. One reply was as recent as December 2019. The other thing to be aware of is that this unit is shipped with the Windows 10 in "S" mode, which is Microsoft's way of trying to keep you safe by keeping you locked in to products that are only available through the Microsoft App Store. It would not allow the installation of Zoom or Google Chrome. I was a little panicked at first, but it was actually quite easy to take it out of "S" mode (just don't let the MS warnings scare you out of doing it). Since my research indicated that the pre-loaded Microsoft security works fine in the S mode, but not so great when the S mode is disabled, I did install the highly rated Kaspersky Free Anti Virus version. Out of the S mode, the computer looks and works like a normal Windows 10 machine. We are planning on keeping the computer but do feel that the item description should be clear, and the 3 incorrect replies from Lenovo should be removed from the "Answered Questions".
