It came defective! I sent back and asked for a replacement! The replacement came defective too! I didn’t resend back after that I just have a dent in the cylinder!

Easy to read and colorful to look at.

Visually, the globe is nice and looks like the advertised photos. It spins decently, and the 8" is a good size if you're looking for a globe that's compact but not too small. The color of the maps is bright and it's easy to read. I was a little disappointed that the shell of the globe arrived broken in two places. If you're looking at the globe, it's not noticeable, but there are two places on the globe where you can feel it's missing a small piece under the plastic map covering, so there are a couple of soft spots on the globe and if you shake the globe, you can hear the broken pieces rattling around.
