i LOVE this. I just got my secondary car, honda crv 2006. my 2023 bmw has automatic carplay built into it, once you have carplay you really cant live without it. for my secondary car (honda), i wanted to add this upgrade. i could have gotten a car play system specifically for older honda crvs, but i opted for this one because i know i can put this in any car. i plan to change older "beater" cars once every few years (i still have my bmw to enjoy here and there) so this will be perfect to plug in to any future vehicle. this comes with 2 types of stands depending on your dash board angles.i love the dash cam feature. makes me feel so much better about driving on the road, prepared for anything that happens (i do not pay for collision on my honda LOL). i bought a dash cam for my bmw, and i never set it up lol i was too lazy too. so this already takes care of that step!have not set up the rear camera yet - but i will try to eventually.so easy to set up. plug in, stick on the dash, and go. screen is very responsive and fast. great price all around.If your car has an aux cord import, you are good to go - this comes with an aux cord so immediately it will connect to your speakers. HOWEVER, if your car is old enough and doesnt, you will have to buy a converter (like my honda). i had to buy a casset tape aux converter - it was only $9, very cheap and got the job done. so take this into consideration if you have an older car.only real complaint that i would like to see for improvement, or at least have included in the package, is about the microphone on the device, i wish it was better. when i am on the phone with friends, they always say they cannot hear me then i have to change my phone to "speaker". it is kind of annoying to have to hold my phone to my face to talk, when i am so used to just speaking directly into my blue tooth hands free. if there is a special mic i can buy to plug into this device, i will gladly do so. i am actually going to email the company to ask about this and see what alternatives they can provide.i loved this device a lot overall, i bought one for my friend as a gift for his beater car - he saw mine and said that he loved it and it made him want one.i would give this 5 stars and overall i highly recommend!

Looked long and hard for options to add Android Auto to my 7889 Ram, and the solutions ran from inexpensive replacement units that don't require wiring harness/dash kits to expensive name-brand units that require expensive wiring harnesses and dash kits. But ultimately with either option you had to make sacrifices.The inexpensive ones have glitches you have to deal with, like the steering wheel controls don't sync right (lose phone or voice control options, one i couldn't map the volume up function to the right button, or can't get them to work at all), the OEM rear camera is grainy or dim or doesn't have back up lines, etc., siriusXM doesn't work, may need an additional mic, time doesn't sync, etc. Additionally, because there's no real development, they just steal someone else's architecture, they have poor usability factors (button placement makes no sense, UI navigation is terrible, music stops while in reverse, etc). Often you have to resynch your phone to it upon start up, also. Overall, you get a lot for your money, but you have to be willing to make ssacrifices.

I’ve been using this for a little while now and honestly, it’s better than I expected.It does exactly what I needed without any hassle super simple and works right out of the box.You know when something just works and makes life easier? That’s how I’d describe this.The build feels solid, not cheap, and it hasn’t given me a single issue so far. So easy to connect in few minutes.I’ve tried a few similar products before, but this one is just smoother and more reliable.I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but this one deserved a shoutout.It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference in my day.If you’re thinking about getting it, I’d say go for it I don’t regret it at all.Also, big plus: it arrived fast and was packed really well.All in all, it’s just one of those buys that quietly does its job and makes you glad you got it.

I have owned 4 of these, and let me tell you I was about to give up. They either had 1 or 2 of the 4 things I was looking for, this is the only one that had ALL of them in flying colors. It has GREAT quality, you can feel it, its sturdy. The camera on this thing is AMAZING, AND adjustable independant of the screen, so you dont need to point your screen in a funky way to make sure the camera is pointing where you need it. This feature alone is a reason to buy. Next, the backup camera actually comes with enough cabling to actually get to the back without having to splice in extra cable or flat out buy a different rear camera. Most of these units DO NOT. Anothing thing is the SCREEN, man is it pretty, NO SMUDGES, Ill say it again for those in the back, NO SMUDGES. Another feature that alone making it worth buying. Look, I could go on and on about this thing, but I stand by what I said, SIMPLY, The Best Of Its KIND. Ive owned this about a year.
