Works Well and is Inexpensive
This item seems to work well and served its purpose. I needed it to check to see if there was a pipe leaking above the ceiling. There was a spot on the ceiling that I suspected was wet. I used this moisture meter to check and monitor the spot over a couple of weeks. There was nothing leaking and it turned out to be an area missed during painting. The meter was inexpensive and helped me determine there was no leak. I used it to solely to check the wetness of my drywall, but it also will check the moisture content of different types of wood. I might never need that feature, but nice to have if I ever need it.

Nice Item for your Toolkit
ERICKHILL Pinless Wood Moisture Meter is well made and easy to operate. I purchased it for one specific job and found that not only is it nice to have around the house for checking other possible moisture concerns but a tool that all my neighbors have been asking me to loan them.

Excellent tool to fight property management
Living in Florida this saved me a lot of headaches after the last hurricane. Damage was not visible but twitch this I was able to prove to property management that my inner walls were soaked just waiting to mold.
