Works well
Nice scanner. Easy hook ups to both my PC and Apple. Scans smoothly and quickly. I have no trouble with stacks and it does get front and back. I like that this scanner can sit up and lay back. I find that longer pages are better to scan with it laying back so that it didn’t fall forward. I love how compact it is, doesn’t take up much deal space at all. Seems to be good quality. It works better than the larger, more expensive scanners used elsewhere in the office.

Fast, Single- and Double-sided, B&W or Color - I love it
I've had this scanner for about a year now, and every time I use it, I love it! I just scanned 110 pages, double-sided, in three batches in about 2 minutes. The software offers multiples ways to save it. If it broke down, I'd buy another just like it. The only odd thing is that, at first, I could load the paper and scan by pushing a button, and the software would pop up on my PC to receive the scan. It stopped doing that for some reason. I can live with that. It doesn't take up much desk space, either, and closes to keep the dust out. I highly recommend it! No problems. No hassles. Nothing but pro scanning ability. Thanks, Epson! Well done!

Works great... but...
Works great - with USB - so why 4 stars? On a PC.I like Epson products. I have a higher end version at the office. Plus some other devices at home. The documentation that came with it is a joke... pretty well useless. The installation - I have not yet been able to install it via wireless, but am using the USB connection. My Android cannot find it, my wireless network cannot find it. There was nothing automatic about the installation. I had to search for the software online to install.I have scanned over 400 pages + receipts since installing it. 2x sided and single sided. No real issues. every once in a while the feed hangs up on thin paper or anything with crinkle in it.The supplied software in good for scanning, removing pages (before saving) and not much else. I found some free software that will OCR and will merge and seperate pdf files.

Absolutely the greatest scanner
Ok so first off: this is perfect for anyone with a small biz. This scanner disused fast and has a built in OCR that does cost 100$ to buy after 30 days but is worth the money if you need it and done have quick books or something- this does the long like drug store receipts with no problem multiples even without getting stuck or krinkled. I am super impressed and so glad I got this machine. It wirelessly works and you can scan into your laptop from another room. It’s really great.

DO NOT BUY THIS SCANNER. EPSON IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY.
DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Epson is a terrible company. Their customer service is GARBAGE. Tons of phone trees that just rattle off other numbers you need to call so quickly that you're not even ready to write them down and then hang up on you. Customer support sits in another part of the world and the best part of all - WHEN YOU SCAN A STACK OF DOCUMENTS THEY COME INTO YOUR COMPUTER BACKWARDS. So Page 1 in the stack loads as Page 10. I spoke to someone in US Support over the phone and they confirmed that you have to manually reorder your pages before you scan them. ARE WE LIVING IN 1998?! Scanners back then could handle ordering correctly. I'm RUNNING back to HP. This company has wasted so much of my time and energy. Mind you, the first time I purchased this "scanner" I purchased the "wire only" option even though they have clouds all over the outside of the box making it seem like it was wireless. Epson is a SCAM from top to bottom.

Great Product so far
Reliable. Does not easily jam and can actually do more than 20 sheets at a time. Have done over 5000 sheets so far with very little issue.

Excellent document scanner for mixed 1-sided / 2-sided multi-page docs
We had a trust document that had to be scanned for electronic transmission to an accountant. Instead of using the single page scanner in our all-in-one (very time-consuming), I found this ES-C320W. It scanned the first part of the document with a mix of single-sided and double-sided pages into one PDF in less than a minute. It scanned the 20 single-sided pages of the second part of the document into one PDF in another less than a minute.Scanned pages were very clear and legible, with the usual shadow and fold artifacts but nothing extreme. So what we have here is a very small scanner very quickly scanning up to 20 mixed single- and double-sided pages at a time into a single PDF. You don't have to do any special feeding of pages, and the scanner by default setting skips the blank backs of single-sided pages. You don't have to do any manual combining of each scanned page into a single document afterwards either - the scanner does that for you.Very highly recommended.

Doesn't play well with others, software is garbage, design is poor.
Professional users, beware!! I'm disappointed in this scanner. I'd return it, except for it was the only one in my price range that had what I needed. But it has myriad problems. First, and worst of all, it doesn't work well with any of my software that requires a scanner, notably my electronic filing system. When I first installed it, every time my filing program accessed it, Epson's own scanning software came up. Only when I laboriously uninstalled ALL the Epson software was my program able to obtain a scanned image. Even then, I discovered that I can only get an image if I scan a single page at a time, which renders the document feeder useless—it would be as efficient to use a flatbed scanner. Second, there is no output tray to catch the scanned pages—they are ejected at high speed, slide across my desk and right on to the floor. I've use multiple scanners over the years and this is the ONLY one that doesn't work well with programs that use scanners. They obviously don't expect it to be used in offices, only by home users who only occasionally want to scan something. Three thumbs down.👎👎👎
