Awesome cat tree at a great price!
Our cats are loving this tree! It’s our first cat tree ever, even though we’ve been cat people our whole lives. We decided on this one because we liked the cactus theme and felt like it had lots of options and ways for the cats to enjoy it.The cactus “nubs” are soft and filled with stuffing, and while this gives less options for a cat’s footing while climbing, I’ve found our cats like playing with them. You just have to show them they’re soft, wiggle them around a bit. We arranged our shelves a little differently than the photo so that our one cat would have a large shelf at the top. This worked out because our other chunky cat actually likes the hammock bag and the string ball as well as the scratching posts. The chunky cat is notoriously lazy, even when we try to play with him, but he actually enjoys expending some energy playing on the lower levels of the cat tree. This thing is tall! Our ceilings are 8ft high, so the support rod only needed about 6-8 inches. The support rod is spring loaded and comes with 2 extensions for taller ceilings. The spring is nice and firm, so it will grip the ceiling well. Just make sure the tree is completely straight for best results. Also, the support L-bracket really makes this thing stable. I had to drill a different hole since we arranged our shelves differently, but I would highly recommend using the L-bracket any way you can. This tree doesn’t take up much floor space and really maximizes the vertical space. You can adjust the shelves however you want. We made sure each shelf was atleast touching one corner to the wall for extra stability. There’s something entertaining for every cat! It’s very safe, the scratching posts are great, and it’s pretty lightweight for its size. You CANNOT beat it for the price. And the style/colors actually make it feel like part of the home.

My ~13 lb cat loves it already!
My larger cat (she is 13 lbs?) was ready to jump on it while I was building it and then she did when I was ALMOST done - just hadn’t added the stability (wall screw yet) and it still held up just fine! However, I DID make sure to add the screw for the wall because she is a rambunctious cat lmao. And after installing it, I gently pushed and there was zero movement, so very happy with the stability.I know that my cat is going to love it since she already is excited. I think she will be perfectly safe. I know she will use the scratching posts as well.Really easy and fast build, too. Color is as expected. It would be nice if the makers added the green fabric on the underside of the platforms given how tall this is BUT I also recognize this is cheaper ergo. It’s the bare minimum. So I’m ok with that! Also as I write this - truly only 10 minutes after installing - she has already zoomed around it and then stared out the window and now is has relaxed and closed her eyes to take a nap on the highest tier. :) I’m so happy I got this one!

Good Value Cat Tree. Not the most stable or quality.
This is great for the price, and worked perfectly next to our bedroom window, as one of the terraces of the cat tree align perfectly with the window sill. Our cats love it, and enjoy the fresh air when the window is open. They use the scratching posts occasionally, but we rubbed them with cat nip.I'd be concerned with stability if we didn't push it against the window sill and wall. The top hammock does look like it bends when our 10lb cat stays there. Both cats have slept in the hammock at the same time. There have been no issues to date, but I do worry that it will snap randomly.I wish the product was sturdier, and I'd certainly pay more for that stability.Overall, this is a good, cheap cat tree that works well for our living space. I'd recommend using the wall mount for stability if you don't encounter the same luck we did with our window sill.

cute!
the cats love it, but there seems to be a decent amount of wear and tear already in a little less than a year, also not the most stable when they get the zoomies but hasnt fallen yet

Big cat loves it
I saw other reviews say that this cat tree is too wobbly for big cats, but my 12lb cat disagrees! Yes, it shakes when he jumps, but I'm never afraid it will fall, it is TIGHT against the cieling. I arranged the tiers differently than the instructions said so that the hammock would be near my desk height, and my cat loves to sit in it and watch me work, or to turn around and look out the window. Also, it's so cute!! Only complaint is that after a few months of use, my cat has pulled holes in the carpeting, but it's still in pretty good shape.

Had to modify it to fit my ceiling.
I have what I thought was a normal ceiling height and this is just a bit too tall to fit completely assembled. It worked if I took out one of the sections but if I did that it wasn't "tall" anymore. The solution for me was to assemble it without two of the shelves and cut a few inches off the tension tube. I have the two scratchy posts below the first perch shelf. My cats can either climb or jump that. And the shelf on the same level as the nest I took out. Like this it is barely squeezable under my ceiling. So in my opinion it should be a little bit shorter or more compressable at the top. But it's cool and I made it work. And the cats like it.
