Bought this for my son. We were both initially wowed by it..... Super impressive speed and movement. Its stopped working after 10 mins though, which we assumed might be the battery. So we swapped over to the second fully charged battery, but it wouldn't work at all. Waited for the initial battery to fully charge and try again (in case it was the second battery that was faulty) but it still didn't work. When removing the second battery I realised there was water inside it, so it wasn't watertight/waterproof as claimed. Hopefully just a dodgy one. Returned for a refund.

Fast , easy to use. Battery lasts a long time And there are two!

We put this in the pool wel it was on the pool and it didn't work we did make sure it had charge but didn't work at all.

This is the S3 radio controlled speed boat from 4DRC. It's the latest in the range, having had some experience in owing the S1 and S2.The S3 seems to build on the quality design from the S2. Although it's a little smaller, this is more practical on ponds or small rivers, where space is a little more restrictive.The lid seems to lock easier and more securely than the S2, with the battery dock easier to access. Batteries simply pop in, once charged via the usb cable, so can easily be swapped.This only works when in water, thanks to the sensing switch.Controls work well and it's a powerful boat for its size. It uses a standard, secure 2.4ghz signal, as used in most RC vehicles these days.This is great if you're into RC boats or want a difference from cars or planes. You just need to ensure you have somewhere suitable to race it, such as a pool, lake or canal.I like that the control can be used with one hand, making it easy to control the steering with your thumb and the trigger with your I Dex finger.Overall, this is a fun RC boat that you should get plenty of fun out of. 2 included batteries make it last if you take it out for the day. Presumably, more can be bought if needed.

Ok so the second boat was just as bad as the first, on this occasion the signal of the control drops out intermittently and again drives itself forward with no input from the control. As others have stated the control needs fettling with to even get it to work as the terminals don’t make good contact and you have to force the battery’s in, just poor shoddy design.It’s disappointing as this could have been a fun little toy, but regrettably this is just another shoddy product churned out from China.If you are looking for a decent rc boat take my advice and pay a little more and visit a modelling shop, where you will get a decent product that has gone through quality control measures and comes with warranty.I won’t be purchasing a third one.

This RC boat with LED light works excellent plus remote control is very easy and comfortable to operate.This boat can achieve a speed of 30+ mph easily with the powerful motor.Made from really good quality I must admit, superior ABS plastic, waterproof cover and multiple strong twist-lock designs effectively protect the boat from water penetration.I really like that the 2.4GHz frequency controller features a high capability of avoiding signal disruption, allowing you to race more than boats against each other at the same time which brings full control and enjoyment.I must admit that I had to be the first to test this boat and it made me so happy that I went the next day, but in the end I gave it to my godson and he was also very happy when I went with him for a little swim, perfect gift, for a really good price, I can recommend it to anyone without any hesitation.

1-top speed about 15 max2- battery lid for controller broke first day.3- battery 🔋 pack opened up.4- its not waterproof!5 don't buy it as its misleading in every way.

The battery connection in the remote control was loose so had to return as faulty.We had bought two boats for our boys for Christmas and both boats had the same fault
