Best tin opener I have ever bought
This is the best tin opener I have ever owned! It perfectly opens tins and is easy to hold. It's metal and lightweight and does the job perfectly. Definitely great value for money!

Good budget friendly tin opener
Easy to use tin opener. Fits normal size tins. Pretty sharp so no struggling, and easy to grip.

Good….but
It does the job but can hurt your hand as it’s metal and hard metal

Awful product
1 star because I can't award 0. Absolutely awful product, falls apart - if you get to open a full can before it breaks, that's a bonus (I've had 2 replacements that have also done the same).

Reliable, No-Frills Can Opener
•The Butterfly Can Opener Silver may not be the flashiest tool in your kitchen, but it's like your trusty old Toyota - it may not be a Lamborghini, but it gets you where you need to go.•I was initially skeptical of this can opener - I mean, how good could a plain, silver can opener really be? But I was pleasantly surprised by how well it works.•Using the Butterfly Can Opener Silver is about as easy as taking candy from a baby. Actually, scratch that - taking candy from a baby can be pretty challenging. Let's just say it's easy as pie.•This can opener is like the Terminator of kitchen gadgets - it just keeps going and going and going. I don't know what kind of superpowers it has, but I'm here for it.•The best thing about the Butterfly Can Opener Silver is that it's so reliable, you could use it to open cans in a power outage, a zombie apocalypse, or a major disaster. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but you get the point.•If you're looking for a can opener that's simple, effective, and won't let you down, the Butterfly Can Opener Silver is like the Robin to your Batman - it's always got your back.

Good at opening tins, does what it says on the ti... don't make me say it...
This is a review for the Chef Aid 10E02005 Butterfly Can Opener SilverThe first thing that I want to point out is that this tin opener will not last forever, but you should expect a decent amount of use out of it. I always tend to find that these tin openers are way better than the ones with plastic handles, but maybe that's just my personal preference. The item came well packaged, in a box not too big.Things I like:1. Appears sturdy, it has a metal and plastic design, which means it should last longer than just an all-plastic tin opener.2. Grips onto and opens tins pretty easily without too much pressure or force needed.3. Can open big and small round tins with ease.Things I don't like:1. Cheaper alternatives available (50p from Asda), it pretty much looks identical. Therefore this isn't really great value for money. But if you can't get out to a supermarket to buy one for cheaper, paying a bit extra for the convenience of same/next day delivery is sometimes a lifesaver (which coincidentally is why we ended up buying this, as our old tin opener died in the middle of opening some peeled plum tomatoes, like how boring? It could have been something exciting like I don't know... does anything exciting ever come tinned?).2. This does not open square tins (sorry corned beef lovers), but those should come with those little metal keys anyway, right? Though in fairness, you could probably still open (ish) a square tin, you might need to jam a knife in there (not recommended).3. It's started to rust already after just a few days of use and after washing, but as long as there are no rusty flakes in my tuna, it's all good :)The bottom line:Overall, if you're looking for an emergency tin opener and you have no other option then this is the only scenario where I'd recommend buying this. If you don't however have any peeled plum tomato-related emergencies and can get to a supermarket, you can literally buy 5 of them for the same price as one, and it's pretty much identical. So ultimately, I can't recommend it at this price point. Great tin opener, it does its job, but it's just too expensive and with the cost of living at the moment, every penny counts.Reviews like this one always help me to make a purchase decision. If this review has helped you in any way, shape or form, please consider marking it as helpful :)

Chef Sid traditional can opener
Very satisfactory can opener. Easy to use for all types of cans/tins. Simple but needed in a kitchen. Basic not fancy but reliable. Easy to clean. Gift amongst other things for grandson moving into flat. Everyone needs a tin opener. Bottle opener at bottom too. So two uses. Can easily be stored in cutlery drawer.
