Took me a second to figure out how to open it but it's pretty solid build quality. comes with everything you need to get your ssd hooked up

I recovered my HDD from my crashed computer. I already have one of these enclosures because of ANOTHER laptop that crashed. Both work great. I would (and did) buy this again.

UGREEN box (reviewed elsewhere) wasn't available at time of purchase), so I bought this one to house a spare 2.5" HDD.Thinner plastic case than UGREEN, but rounded edge design has no sharp corners which could otherwise possibly dent or scratch things. Slightly smaller and more compact than UGREEN box, but more difficult to insert or remove disk drives, which must be carefully tilted in so as not to bend the SATA drive plug prongs, and it's a tight fit for older 9.5mm drives when sliding the top cover on or off. In contrast, UGREEN box allows straight-in SATA drive plug insertion. Cheaper than UGREEN box by a couple of dollars.
