Ideal for the electronics bench
It took me a while to figure out the keywords used to find these backboxes, but once i got the keywords i was able to get a pack of 4 for a reasonable price.I'm using these on my electronics bench, and they are ideal for this purpose, or any other times you want sockets that are easily accessible on the top of a bench against the wall, but do not want to wall mount sockets (which would need to be placed higher up the wall to allow for the cable on the plugs)They are made of a material that allows drilling if you are careful, so as i have these plus some single boxes to mount side by side, i easily drilled a 20mm hole through the sides of some of them to feed the wires across from a single hole coming up from my bench from the E-stop contactor box.

Horribly expensive!!!
Crazy price for just typical piece of plastic!!!Very poor design with plenty of useless space behind socket plate. It could be much smaller.Don't buy it !!!!!

Much cheaper than other under counter options. But !
Ok but these have very limited cable access options unles u want cable from middle back. You will have to get invented . Same with fixing screw positions . the surroundings seem a lil weak and again u need to get inventive to get a solid fix.
