Great tool for learning
I bought this for my 4 year old nieces birthday. She loves it. She's at school in September and its really helping with her writing and pronunciation. I think it's great value for month and pretty hardy as there had been some fights between the two kids for it and it's been flung across the floor. Still works great. Both 2 and 4yr old have found it useful.

Perfect for my little one. Strong product as has survived many drops from toddler and still works fine.

Really good toy
My little one loves it. Very entertaining. I’m happy that it doesn’t have unnecessary games on it. We avoid video games of all sorts in our house. There two issues only. It can be very annoying for little hands that struggle following lines. It doesn’t let the child to have the satisfaction of finishing the letter unless properly written. Good on one hand but very frustrating on the other. I struggle sometimes myself. The second issue is that the spelling words are very limited. My little one is reception already but struggles with fine motor skills and writing is a challenge. He’s happy writing the letters but the spelling words are under his abilities. For a younger child might be a better fit.The screen is a bit pale and small as well but doable.

Great for development
Excellent purchase. Truly helps in helping children write their letters, as well as becoming confident in writing their name. Makes learning fun. I struggled to get the little boy I nanny to write. This made it seem fun and interesting. It didn’t feel like learning, but more like playing to him. It also has a free-drawinh function, where we take turns to draw a picture and the other has to guess what it is. This is a mini game we play after he practices his letters. Kind of like a treat for doing well with his letters, a little motivation. We bring it out and about also, instead of the real iPad, so he is learning on the go when ‘bored’.

Insufficient screen brightness
This product is well conceived and got a lot of interest from my 4 year old. However the screen is not sufficiently bright, even on the maximum brightness setting. That really undermines the usability of the product. I would rate it 5 stars if it was not for the poor quality screen.
