Outstanding Taste Makes This My Go-To Protein Powder
After trying numerous protein powders over the years, I keep coming back to PhD Nutrition's Diet Whey in Salted Caramel - and there's a good reason for that loyalty. The taste is genuinely exceptional. The salted caramel flavor is rich and indulgent without being overly sweet or artificial tasting. It's one of the few protein powders I actually look forward to drinking rather than just tolerating. Even mixed with just water, it tastes great, though it's absolutely delicious with milk.Mixability is another strong point. It blends smoothly without clumping, whether you're using a shaker bottle or blender. No gritty texture or stubborn lumps that refuse to dissolve - just a smooth, creamy consistency every time.Having experimented with many different brands and flavors, I can confidently say this stands out in a crowded market. The combination of great taste and easy mixing keeps bringing me back, even when I've tried to switch things up with other products. The only minor consideration is that it's positioned as a "diet" protein, so if you're specifically looking for a mass-gaining formula, you might want to check the macro profile against your goals. For anyone seeking a protein powder that doesn't compromise on taste while delivering quality nutrition, this salted caramel flavor is hard to beat. It's become my reliable staple for good reason.

Good protein, easy to use - not sure about the new flavour!
I have been using PHD diet whey - vanilla for years. It is a staple of my part of my diet and I love the easy way to get that all important extra protein into my diet. The consistency is not bad, I usually blend it in the ninja as the shakers sometimes leave lumps.Only 4 stars today as I preferred the old vanilla flavour better - like vanilla ice creams. This new flavour is a bit stronger.

My Daily Go-To – Tastes Good, Keeps Me Going
I use PHD Diet Whey every single day and honestly, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It mixes well, doesn’t taste like sad cardboard (which is saying something for a protein shake), and actually keeps me full. I’ve tried a few flavours and they’ve all been solid – not too sweet, not too artificial. It fits easily into my routine whether I’m having it post-workout, in a smoothie, or just shaken up with water when I’m in a rush. It’s also great knowing it’s low in sugar and high in protein without being packed with weird stuff.Basically, it does what it says on the tub – and it tastes good while doing it.

Gritty mouth feel
There is a definitely a gritty texture you feel in your mouth. And when you smell the product in the bag- it was not the greatest. Wasn’t mad about the taste either. Going to throw it out and go back to my other protein powder. Optimum Health.

Belgian chocolate new formula = Disgusting!
If I could give 0 stars I would!Used this product for YEARS however new Belgian chocolate formula is disgusting and tastes like watery cardboard with an unpleasant after taste!PHD what have you done, why ‘fix’ something that isn’t broken? I’m cancelling my subscription and on the hunt for an alternative chocolate protein powder.Really disappointed in PHD.I don't normally leave reviews but wanted to prevent others from wasting a their money based on reviews for the old Belgian chocolate formula.
