Easy to use, worth to buy
Easy setup. Respond time is fast. Scanning distance can be a bit further comparing to some of the older molders of similar product. Recommended to buy.

Easy to use and so much fun, it's like playing with a toy!
I bought this and have used it to catalog my books, DVDs/Blu Ray and CD collections. I have even used it to scan some items to search for by barcode in the Amazon search field! It is definitely easier than typing in barcodes, takes the typos out of the equation to get the right thing every time. Includes every type of barcode you can think to scan.

Great Barcode Scanner Used in a Manufacturing Shop
My employer ordered several of these barcode scanners. They are used on tablets in a manufacturing shop to clock on and off of various production orders. These are plug and play, durable, and work well with barcodes that are sometimes dirty or scratched. The affordable price for these scanners is awesome.

decent little wired scanner, continuous mode is different than I am used to
Our barcode scanners in the school library are getting super old. They are pre USB so us an adapter to even connect to a USB port. They have coiled super long cables and a continuous mode where the beam stays on and is a constant red line on the counter. This Netum wired USB scanner is simple to use if you just want to use the trigger. It was plug and play. It comes with a book of barcodes to change settings on the scanner. I wanted to put it in continuous mode so I scanned the barcode labelled Continuous on page 4 of the book. It changed from using the trigger to several flashes in a row followed by a short couple second break and then flashhes of beam. So it is not the one solid beam shining and waiting for a barcode, but it does stay running. The stand it comes with is fairly stable and easy to put together. It has no height adjustment but it is flexible so it will tilt the scanner. If your computer is close by then the length of the cable will be sufficient. I have a stand up desk that makes the cord a bit short for my liking but I can move the stand down onto the counter and use it that way.It seems well priced and a good entry level barcode scanner. They have many variation of this scanner that include wireless and Bluetooth options to fit your needs. This one is only corded. Note: Definitely DO NOT throw out the little book with all of the barcodes to change settings.

Works great
Perfect for scanning the tiny barcodes on modern tech equipment to track serial numbers. I've used it with QR and Datamatrix codes with no problems.

Much better than a simple 1D barcode scanner
Even if you just need it for basic 1D barcodes, this will read them much better than a regular 1D scanner. even if they are faded, they scan in a fraction of a second.

Is easy to hold
I like how it feels in my hands, but its made of light weight material so it feels flimsy. I also got a package without instructions or a USB cable. I dont think the materials inside take away from its usefulness. I think its a reflection of the sellers quality control standards.
