Excellent product, but could do with a longer handle

For years I've used a flat net(leaf skimmer?) to whirlpool my 10ft circular pool to get the crap into the middle then attempt to get it all, you always get a hefty chunk of it - but not all of it, This net tends to get all of it by just gently walking around the pool, its not sturdy enough to 'stir' the pool like us dads want to do and neither is the pole very long! (add another foot to the pole will you) but! it does the job alot better than the flat net square shaped thing, give it a try dads! perhaps look somewhere cheaper tho as with delivery this is over priced!!... bit weird how the net doesn't actually fit snug to the pole? do that and fix the price and then u get my return as a buyer - falling that I'll try similar else where.

Received this item today . Mesh and net head are ok , appear to be well made and sturdy. The handle on the other hand does not FIT the head at all well. Head fitting hole is 28mm in diameter BUT the handle is only 20mm in diameter with a very flimsy locking mechanism. This makes the whole assembly very very loose and prone to following off when you start to clean your Pond. Quick fix is either Gaffer tape on shank OR bamboo pegs in the gaps. Or return

We bought this to go round the pool surface instead of using the big net and it is perfect for thatCheck length works for your size pool or by pond - a good buy for the money !

I didn't have high expectations for the price but I was still disappointed by this product.There was no info on the length of the handle in the advert but the word "deep" in the title hinted at something that might do the job. Anyway having read several reviews it looked good. Indeed someone said it reached across an 8 foot pool so it had have a decent handle, right?. Well, that person must have 6 foot arms as the handle is very short (about 1 meter) and there's no way it would reach the bottom of even a modestly deep pool without the need for full SCUBA gear.The net design is pretty good - it should dislodge debris and collect it but not with a 3 foot handle. Incidentally that 3 foot handle fell apart when I took it out of the box, so apart from being way too short, it's also quite poorly made.Probably OK for kiddies' paddling pools but not suitable for anything more.Sent back and a full refund received.

This is absolutely brilliant! I bought it as my pool hoover had just died and I didn't want to fork out over £50 to replace it so I thought I'd give this a go, I'm so chuffed I did because it does a fab job of getting all the bits off the bottom of the pool, no mechanical parts to go wrong and no batteries needed (the pool hoover needed 8 batteries each time which adds up over the summer) it's super wide so it catches lots at each sweep and has an extendable pole so I can reach over to the other side of the pool (ours is 8ft X 5ft) with ease. My best buy of the year so far and I definitely won't be buying another pool hoover!

As described good size net and pole very happy. Perfect for cleaning my above ground swimming pool size 3mx2m. The flat edge allows you to scrape the bottom which lifts the debris and then scoop up in the net. Would recommend and was delivered very fast to.
