I replaced another brand with this camera. The difference is drastic!1. It comes with but does not require the rear camera. I choose to not put it in place yet.2. The main 3 camera unit is bigger than my old unit. In a small car it might be too large but in my GMC Terrain (mid size SUV) it is not an issue.3. The image quality of all 3 camera is excellent, very clear.4. Very customizable. I currently have one camera pointing through my drivers side window, one to the front and the right camera is positioned to get the passenger window AND back seat AND the rear window (can see car behind me!)5. The control buttons have markings but are hard to see. I used a white marker to identify the buttons.(Seen in first pic). They are easy to use. I took info from the book to create a quick reference an posted here.6. The camera comes with a sticky pad and a sticky suction cup. I'm currently using the suction cup. It allwa for adjustment but may eventually use the flat sticky pad as it may take less room on the windshield. Note that unlike the other brand, the suction cup has NO METAL CONTACTS so is NOT REQUIRED for use. Like this feature very much.7. Camera recordings are stabilized. Smooth. Records sound (can be turned off!), gps location, speed, date, time. You can take PHOTOS by holding the left arrow for 3 seconds. 1 button press gives you a photo from each of the 3 cameras.8. Has a very easy uncluttered app.9. Wifi feature is simple. Turn it on the camera with ok button. Connect to that wifi with your mobile device (I have an android phone). Then open the app and "enter the device". While connected you can see the recordings. You can delete recordings and you can DOWNLOAD the important video recordings and photos. Once downloaded, you can view them even when not connected or near to the camera.10. View the downloaded videos or photos in the app itself, or in your normal gallery. The format of the downloaded videos is the universal mp4 so can be viewed and shared easily.11. Transferring images and videos to a PC is easily done via the SD card (I find downloading to my phone then uploading just as easy).Very pleased with this purchase and recommend this camera! Only time will tell as we head into extreme summer heat.

I did a ton of research and watched lots of YouTube videos (thank you vortex radar for your in depth reviews on dash cams) for months before purchasing this dash cam. I wanted a 4 channel dash cam with idle safety so when I'm parked it will stay on and watch my car. This dash cam does all of that, I love the ability to move the two cabin cameras where I want them and the fact that I don't have to install multiple cams all around the inside of my car. It's all in one and the screen is perfect for making sure you have the right angles right then and there. I didn't want to need wifi so I was okay with letting the cloud feature go. High quality dash cam with high quality cords. The picture quality on all the cams is perfect and the included tool for pushing the cord into the roof of my vehicle was much needed. I think the one thing that I was extremely frustrated with was having to purchase a separate hardwire kit for the ACC cord. The feature that allows you to stay protected around the clock. I would've appreciated everything behing included in the box and if not maybe a note before purchasing that you'll need to buy the kit in order to hardwire it to your battery. 10 out of 10 i highly recommend this cam. I also love that you can't see that I have one from the front of my vehicle because of the eyebrow (window tint) plus I'm hoping it helps the dash cam not be so hot in direct sunlight. One thing i would say is while installing make sure you are able to slide the cam off the mount if need be, I am able to where I've got mine sitting despite it being so close to my rear view mirror. So easy to install, you don't even need instructions. Very user friendly plug and play type deal. LOVE LOVE LOVE this cam, I will be recommending to friends and family. I found it hard to find all the information I needed that would have helped make this purchase easier to decide on over others. I wanted to hardwire into my vehicles but also be able to move between vehicles. So hopefully this will help others.I've only used the camera a few days but so far I'm happy with purchase. I installed on my 25' Class C motorhome so I knew I was going to need a extension cable for the rear camera. There's no mention in the general info about extending the camera wiring. Not even a picture of the cable but looking at the input on the camera I could see it was USB C. So I ordered a 16' USB C male to female. I also read on some other cameras they use a round 4 pin extension which I figured was like for headphones so I got one of those also.So everything shows up and I start the install and I noticed somewhere in the instructions they mention a extension cable with number. Nothing I ordered was going to work so I ordered the cable they mentioned. It is a round 4 pin but its a mini video cable similar to other camera cables but just super small with 4 little pins inside. So the USB C plugs into camera and right before the camera there's a connection you just pull apart. Installed the extension and finished wiring and mounting camera. Also in the hardwire kit are fuse connections that allow you to pull a fuse and put it in this adapter and plug it back in where the fuse came out of. It then gives you a round plug to plug into harness going to power the camera. It made it so simple to install.My biggest gripe is the buttons are dark and small and hard to read. I did what a different person did and put paint into the markings to make them stand out.The GPS shows 2 mph below what the speedometer shows so no big deal , rather below than over.The audio can be turned off if you wish not to have your conversation recorded.Not sure if it was a error or what but my unit came with 2 3M mounts and a suction cup. Camera is easy to move between cars. The other thing i did was mark the power cable so I knew what port to plug power in vs plugging power into rear camera port.
