I bought a projector that I have researched and liked , but it didnt have the function of connecting to a sound bar as it lacked bluetooth connectivity.it was recommended to get a bluetooth receiver, and after researching several products, reviews, I went ahead and ordered this .it was quick to get the order, it came with a quick setup guide..after I turned it on, and turn the sound bar on, and they paired, few minutes of trying to figure the audio through Amazon fire stick..It workedI was able to connect my projector via bluetooth (which wasnt built in ) to the soundbar using this device, which was a big plus for me, as the audio from the projector is not the best.it is quite efficient so far, there is no siginificant lag in connectivity , and its small size is not affecting its performance .I do think that its quality is very good, and hoping it will continue to perform as expected.I recommend this device if you are looking to add a bluetooth connectivity to a device lacking this ability .

This product works and does exactly what it describes. It was easy to figure out how to use it. There is one recommendation I would have however, to have longer cords for it. The cords are so short that I was not able to place it where I wanted to. I also put a switch between it and the outlet because otherwise the light stays on until you turn it off. Also I did notice that the sound quality is okay, but not as high as I'dve liked, so that is the reason I am giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. It does what it says it does, but, I was hoping for a higher quality sound. If you need a solution to an older stereo without bluetooth capability this is an inexpensive solution.

I have an old Fire HD 8 , could not get it to pair ( don't think the HD 8 even saw the 1Mii B06+) . Might have found a workaround but did not play with it very long . Next tried (bluetooth 5.0) with Fire HD 10 , bingo , no problem . I know bluetooth is supposed to be backward compatible , just sharing my experience with this device . I have streamed with cell phones and Fire HD 8 & 10 , this device by far has better sound . I used ac plug-in on rear of receiver to power the 1Mii B06+ , turns on/off when receiver is on/off. (Don't forget to volume up the device you're streaming from) . Good Luck .***UPDATE***, I did get the Fire HD 8 to pair after manually updating the HD 8 software , works just fine now .This is ; In My Opinion .

I only had to power it on and open my Alexa Echo dot device and select add blue tooth device to my Echo Dot and instant connection. No drop outs at all. Perfect. Now I use my old Yamaha receiver as a extended speaker Bluetooth device to listen to Amazon music through my Amazon Echo Dot.

Easy to pair, easy to use, long range. Clear signal. I have used it successfully in crowds of up to 300 for background music through a PA. Have streamed music from iPhone up to 40 feet from receiver with no interference or drop outs. No problems at all. I would definitely buy it again.

Granddaughter wanted to have a graduation party at my house (bigger pool and 1 acre lot). She wanted to play her music from her phone. My 11 y.o. Yamaha does not have bluetooth built in so I ordered this adapter. Now I have a bluetooth connection. I may never use it again, but it was so easy and made her happy. Worth every penny. I cannot comment on sound quality as it was just for loud party music, mostly on outside speakers.
