Love this prop!

I'm stage-managing a production that needs to use a 1940's style microphone, and I need 4 of them yesterday. I was going to make something, but I saw these on Amazon for under $9.00 each. I picked the gold color. I was very disappointed in both the size and the quality. Very cheap plastic which I hope we don't drop, cause they won't hold up. Also, the size is about 5" in diameter (I didn't measure). I'm going to have to do something to beef up the outside. Not a good value for the price, but I have to use them.

I needed this for an art project. Was WAYYYYY cheaper than a real one or repro. It’s all plastic, so may look a bit cheap if you need to use it for close-up work. I’m dinging one star because no where in the description did it make it clear that this is a non-functional microphone; it’s purely decorative.

Purchased for a theatre production due to cost of other vintage style microphones. Still overpriced given the size of the item. We haven't decided yet whether we will use this or incur the expense of the expensive options.
