Great taste
As a tea enthusiast, I've tried my fair share of blends, but PG Tips Tea Bags stand out as a true classic. From the first sip to the last, these tea bags offer a rich and satisfying experience that embodies the essence of British tea culture. What sets PG Tips apart is their commitment to quality. Each tea bag is crafted from carefully selected tea leaves, sourced from the finest tea gardens around the world. This attention to detail results in a brew that is consistently full-bodied and flavorful, with a distinctively robust character that's perfect for any time of day.One of the things I appreciate most about PG Tips is their unique pyramid-shaped bags. Not only do these bags allow the tea leaves to unfurl and release their full flavor, but they also make for a visually striking presentation. It's a small detail, but it adds to the overall experience of enjoying a cup of PG Tips tea.The flavor profile of PG Tips is wonderfully balanced, with notes of malty richness and a subtle hint of bitterness that is perfectly complemented by a splash of milk. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a biscuit or slice of cake, PG Tips tea never fails to hit the spot.In terms of brewing, PG Tips tea bags are incredibly versatile. Whether you prefer a strong cuppa or a more delicate brew, you can easily adjust the strength by adjusting the brewing time. Plus, the convenient individual tea bags make it easy to brew a perfect cup every time, without any mess or fuss.Beyond the quality of the tea itself, PG Tips is a brand with a rich history and a strong commitment to sustainability. They are Rainforest Alliance certified, ensuring that the tea is ethically sourced and produced in a way that protects both the environment and the communities where it is grown. In conclusion, PG Tips Tea Bags are a timeless classic that never disappoints. nice cuppa, even better 'deal'
First time tried PG about a year ago on a whim purchase @ CVS (had never heard of it before). I thought, 'well, if it is supposedly "Englands #1 tea", it's gotta be pretty darn good?'. I very much enjoy it's unique flavor profile as a morning cuppa prepared hot, with cream and honey. Personal opinion: is a little strong for a standard sized cup... perfect for me though, as I prepare in a giant mug and it is just right versus other brands which end up being to weak for my large cup.Found what I thought was a reasonable deal @ WallyMurt ($19 for 240). Just after purchasing that one, I found this killer deal on Amazon (better than half the price). I was concerned about ordering online, as some of the other reviews stated the flavor/quality was off in the tea that they received (and that there was any inconsistency to begin with, wth? fake brand?) Luckily, I did not find this to be the case with my order. 480 bags for $18 ($0.0397 per cup) is as good as it gets. Mine shipped directly from UK, seller WorldWideMart UK. (06/2019 purchase - 04/2020 expiration). The flavor is as I expected it to be, and their shipping was adequately timed. Just worth mentioning perhaps, the WM purchased box had expiration of 05/2020... I would have thought the 'fresh' from UK would have been a better expiration date, not the case tho.just some friendly other cuppa recommendations for my tea-loving friends (I will stick to all similar-ish to PG, & similarly prepared hot/cream/honey, and readily available basic stuff):my all-time favorite morning cuppa is Foojoy Yunnan Pu-erh, cheap (I buy direct from Asian market for 25% of what it costs online), conveniently bagged, and seriously tasty. Being a Chinese tea, perhaps one would never consider it prepared English style. Give it a try though. Smoky and earthy, with a strange and balanced richness that oddly sits in the background rather than up-front like an acidity (hard to describe), pairs incredibly with the cream/honey. My personal heaven.loose leaf: Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Co, Scottish Breakfastum, daily drinker: Bigelow Earl Grey (*gasp*, hey be nice, it's free at work! Now that I have 480 bags of PG Tips, though: bye Bigelow)honorable mentions:Twinings Lady Grey (something a little different)Twinings Prince of Wales (nice change of pace)

The same great PG Tips but unbelievably good deal.
PG Tips is my favorite tea for everyday use that I do a lot. Very good deal - received in May 2018 with the mark "best until the September of 2019" so it's produced in 2017. For the same price (or even more), you may buy in US only the single box.BTW, the description doesn't say the expiration date - I have risked and glad I did :). I also don't know what means "160 bags + 80 bags free", in fact, it's the standard PG Tips commercial box of 240 bags (two of them).P.S. Some people complain regarding the quality. There is the trick - red strip front panel box with the green and blue picture, which said and holds 240 bags (not 160 as the Amazon's description said) is really packed by Unilever UK (i.e.in UK). And I was happy to get exactly 2 of such boxes for the half of regular price. But white boxes with 160 bags and additional 80 bags are packaged by Unilever Espana S.A. in Barcelona. I have used it on the cruise with the departure from Barcelona. It's not a bad tea but little different mixture that that from UK (probably less Kenyan tea) and requires more time for infusion. Thus this is not Unilever's fault but Amazon's disorder. Now they have the UK-made tea as "PG Tips Black Tea, Pyramid Tea Bags, 240-Count Box (Pack of 2)", i.e. no 2x160+80 for the same price, which wasn't available when I made the order but actually received this one instead of Spain-made. Probably some people experienced the opposite situation. Look on this as on the gambling: sometimes you are loosing, sometimes you getting something unbelievably good (as I did).
