This scepter is beautiful and well worth the price. The crystal (glass) that sits on top is about twice the size of a golf ball and is heavy. It screws into the metal rod and seems really sturdy. This is the perfect touch for a fairy or fantasy costume, but I would not recommend letting children play with this. It could easily turn into a club in the wrong hands and cause some damage. I would purchase again, very happy with this product.

This scepter is an excellent addition to any princess costume! It's elegant and easy to assemble. The crystal at the top is relatively heavy, so just be prepared to help counter balance it if you plan on waving it around. I used it for a prop with a statue and it was perfect! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I got this for my 12-year-old daughter. She's a little older and this wasn't for a costume (though it'd be great) or playing typical kid "dress up." She just loves all things "fancy" and definitely has a growing collection of fun costume jewelry and tiaras that, unsurprisingly, there aren't many occasions that she actually needs such royal accessories, but, you never know when she might come out to dinner or watching tv or doing homework and apparently feels moved to add a little bling to the experience. She LOVES it!!There is really no packaging where a nice, ideally padded, box could make a significant jump on the wow factor for a first impression, and that's lacking, but the piece is still nice on its own. The crystal ball is beautiful and feels much more like a true scepter (I'm guessing) than a toy. The ball part screws into the wand and it seems pretty sturdy but is definitely very top heavy and it's not something I would have wanted her wielding around as very young girl when she was in full princess mode and we went to visit the mouse and all! Some young ones could certainly handle it, but I'd be cautious with the average little kid as I feel like this could certainly cause some damage if accidentally banged into something a little too hard. Definitely a neat and fun piece all around and if you are already in the market looking for something like this, I'm sure you'll be very pleased with this!

The items was amazingly crafted although the shaft was dented and it came to late for my event I decided to keep for Halloween occasions. The crystal is very heavy, especially when attached to the shaft and feels real authentic. Would not recommend for children between the ages of two and nine.

This was the perfect addition to my daughters Halloween costume. She was a princess! It is well made and surprisingly heavy!
