Installed this new printer out of the box. Had a broken install disk, had to download all drivers, then powered up the unit and had pow to the power block but no power to the printer. Had to box it up and return. Maybe just a bad unit. I ordered another printer from different manufacture for POS system.

Oh, perhaps I had too high of hopes, but frankly, I feel like this thermal receipt printer should have worked much better than it does. Resolution is only acceptable if you're printing text, and I feel like there's very little control. My receipts come out too light and my graphic looks like I'm printing in the 90s... Dot matrix probably would look nicer. Booooo! That's all I have to say

Not compatible with otter point of sale

This printer is easy to install it comes with instructions and video on how to do it .. you have to download the drives !! It requires a little knowledge on programming and installing

EDIT: I'm raising my review from 1 to a 3. Mine did not come with instructions, and the driver software that came on the thumbdrive was for a different unit and would not print correctly. I was able to find the driver on their website for the correct version and can now print correctly.
