Works well with solar battery BMSes
I used this to talk to a Pace solar battery BMS and it works perfectly.

Cable with Chip and own driver;
Uploaded driver from the details given website, however does not work retro back on Windows 7; still need to chase the right driver.

Not a happy customer
Not only did it not work but the driver I had to download from a dodgy Chinese website curupted the standard serial drive for windows so the rest of my serial cables stopped working
