Great results, excellent product! Directions were easy to follow and results far exceeded my expectations. (Photos taken April and June)Used for establishing / repairing a partly shaded lawn in SW (transition zone) with ~6 hours of direct sunlight.Soil tested at 6.5 - 7.0 pH, was de-thatched and raked before seeding, then dressed over lightly with top soil.Seedlings sprouted within 3 weeks with noticeable growth by week 6. By 8 weeks, it feels hardy and requires frequent mowing for maintaining ideal height and texture. Heavily shaded areas are slower to grow, but that is expected with Bermuda so no complaints!It looks beautiful and benefits from frequent mowing for a short, dense, looking turf. 10/10 would recommend!

I was really struggling to get grass to grow in a couple of spots in my front yard. I put this down and rolled out some straw cover over it and finally I have grass. It's filling in nicely and looks great. I'll buy this again.

Good grass very pleased

I didn’t expect much because I figured these have been sitting on the shelves in an Amazon warehouse for a while, but i figured it wasn’t much different than sitting on the shelves at Home Depot so I gave it a try. The grass seed that I bought at HD sprouted in a week. THESE were down for 3 weeks and nothing came up. We had rain every day too, so I didn’t even need to water, and still nothing.WORST PART - the “associates” at Amazon refused to refund me without returning something. They also refused to pass me along to a manager to approve a return-less refund. How can I return grass seed that’s buried in the ground and scattered all over by the thousands??? I ended up just returning a box filled with nothing. Literally. If they attempt to retract my return funds, I’ll make a huge deal out of it.Keep that in mind if you do purchase seed from Amazon.

I live in SW Florida and bought this to seed the patchy yard of the house I purchased. My yard gets direct sunlight for the entirety of the day.I prep the yard by rake before putting down the seed. I water the area twice a day on the days it does not rain. After a month I have almost the entirety of my backyard filled with beautiful grass- this is also with two large German shepherds also using the backyard. Buying more seed to finish the last section of the yard.

I had a really patchy lawn, some fungus came through the neighborhood and wiped out most of the St. Augustine in the neighborhood. I decided to use this to make the switch to Bermuda and it has started spreading. This is very easy to use, but make sure you read the instructions and apply it correctly. While I can’t say I have the yard of the month yet, my yard looks a lot better than it did a few weeks ago. Finally, make sure you have the ability to water twice a day if you’re going to use this product. This is absolutely not a sit it and forget it kind of thing. It needs to be watered twice a day.

So long as you understand the importance of keeping new seeds moist, and you’re watering your lawn regularly after it’s established, you will be 110% satisfied with your purchase. I don’t really need to write anything else if you just look at the before and after pictures. Amazing. As advertised. I love it. I’ll be setting up irrigation to tackle overseeding the front yard next now that I have the process down.
