i bought this for my partner for christmas. he loves rubik’s cubes, but the cubes he has no longer challenge him. well i’m glad i found this one- he’s been stumped for almost a month now 😭 the cube itself is great quality and turns smoothly. we haven’t had any issue with the stickers falling off or any broken pieces yet.

Very challenging puzzle! I have been cubing for 20+ years and this took me some time to figure out how to solve it. It would be fun to have it in different colors.

High quality and challenging puzzle. This is not one that you figure out in 15 minutes, be prepared to spend a fair bit of time solving this one.

I purchased this as a gift for a certified genius. Most brain puzzles offer minimal challenge to them. This Level 10 puzzle actually engaged them for more time than usual, although they were eventually able to solve it. I count this as a successful gift, and I will definitely consider purchasing more puzzles at this level!

Totally worth it. Got it for dad for Christmas. It's still sitting on the shelf unsolved. Think I finally stumped him.

I got this for Christmas, and assumed it was a typical off axis 3x3. What’s so hard about that, right? But this was where I was gravely mistaken. Once scrambled, and even within a few rotations of solved, the shape is unrecognizable. Because you have to rotate the layers 10 to 30 degrees in order to line the shape up for layer rotation, this cylinder doesn’t look solved even when it is. This cylinder lived up to being a ghost cube except…I think maybe a bit harder. The issue mostly comes in the form of not being able to keep your top layer oriented while performing algorithms, the lack of distinguishing colors, and several shapes that look virtually identical to each other, but are different enough to fit tightly in only one spot. There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 triangle shapes that only fit flush in one spot. There Similarly, there are about 6 rectangles that are only subtly different from each other. The result is that you could accidentally place a rectangle in the wrong position and actually not realize it until you get to the last layer and find that your left over rectangle shapes don’t fit flush where they should. It took me about 4 tries (get to that last layer and then lose my orientation) and 4 days to solve this, and there were a few moments where I was actually ready to quit and throw it against a wall. This is a little pricy for what it is, but, if you have the extra cash, and you enjoy cubing, this is a great puzzle to buy. NOTE: This puzzle cylinder will only rotate when aligned, and it is not self aligning. Trying to force it will result in it popping apart, which I think is why some people are reporting it breaking. It is quality, but will not suffer much of your abuse! LOL NOTE: This was originally a 5 star rating, but then the stickers started falling off after the second solve. And there is no way to replace them with the original color sticker. This REALLY bothered me for a 30 dollar cube to employ such trash. They should have painted them or matted them to the surface. Bad form. Bad form.
