What is the total amp max for the bus? Is it 180 amps (6*30) or can you only use a few 30 amp circuits.
Does this fuse block utilize a single power line in to feed the 6 circuits?
What's the difference between the one with split, and the one without?
do I need a terminal block in conjunction with this or just wire this to my battery and run everything off of this its going in a enclosed trailer to run lights and a inverter .my winch I figure would be direct to the battery right ?

Works as advertised!

I bought this to add another fuse panel to my Nitro boat. It was easy to install, the quality seems very good, and it has a very fair price as well. I've been running this on my boat for a year with absolutely no problems! Highly recommend!

Solid, clear, nice, good price/quality: Recommended

I really like this fuse block. It looks and feels nice and solid. I installed it on my motorcycle (under the seat) so I easily can add accessories to it. Once connected the fuse block via a relay to a switched 12V wire, I only have to connect the pos. and neg. wires of the accessories to the fuse block. Very easy, and no messing with inline fuses. I also like that it has a pos. and neg. side, so I don't have to connect all the negative wires to my battery or grounded bolts. It just makes it very clear, also with replacing fuses. Another thing I like is the cover. I can put lugage on the fuse block without having to worry about damaging itI strongly recommend this product to motorcyclists who like to install accessories. It's way better than the cheap Chinese fuse blocks. Also way cheaper than the very expensive ones like the FZ1, which in my opinion you don't need, unless you want specific accessories turned on by ignition and other ones turned on always.

Nice product

Picked this up as I was rigging out my Matecumbe 169. I dont need a lot of capacity, as the only connections that will run thru this are nav/anchor lights, GPS/DepthFinder, and a manual switch for my bilge pump. Two screws mounted it, I ran to the main power cutoff switch, with a fused link in the power cable, and ran the negative lead to the battery. I like that the ground was a part of the unit, removing the need to run a separate block for the black wires.Comes with little stickers for noting what is wired to each connection, but if your handwriting is as bad as mine, you may want your wife to print the info on them. LOLSeems like a fairly well constructed piece of equipment, so i really expect no issues with it.Overall, no complaints, other than the fact that Im too old and stiff to work inside the confines of an enclosed skiff locker.

Worth the little bit extra

Don’t cheap out with electrical, spend the extra $20 and do it right with this fuse panel. Everything works as it should and it grips the fuses real nice. Very compact, perfect for tighter builds. This was less than $40 so I’d consider any quality electrical for that price to be a good bang for your buck. Understand that THESE DO NOT COME WITH FUSES, But I just kinda figured that was standard and bought the fuses I needed separately at the same time.

Small amp distribution block

Seems well built, would work great for small amp draw accessories, I wished it had larger lugs to accommodate thicker wire. But for smaller amperage device, it will suffice.

Great little fuse box!

I purchased this for my amateur radio setup and am very happy with it. It is relatively small, easy to get set up, and can accommodate many different devices. It is a lot cheaper than some of the specialized devices, but seems to be very good quality.

Very easy to use...

If you have considered updating your fuse panel, this is definitely the way to go.Pretty Simple set up. If you have your accessories all going to your battery:1. Locate the positive and negative wire to each accessory2. If you need to, splice (with butt connectors) the wires so that they can reach the fuse block with some length to allow you to work. In this stage, a little more length than you need is far better than a little too short, or even "exactly" the right length. You can shorten it later if you need to.3. Locate the main positive and main negative that it attached to the battery you are using. Connect the positive wire from the battery to the positive post of the fuse block, and the negative to the negative post.4. I attached small ring connectors to the negative wires of the accessories (bilge, aerator, nav lights, etc.) and attached them ANYWHERE on the negative positions. You don't need to worry about "where" the negative wires are connected, as long as they are secure on the negative posts and as neat as you want them to be.5. The fuse side is numbered. With the same size small ring connectors, attach the positive lead from your accessory to the number on the fuse panel you want.6. You can either attach another ring connector on top of the one you just installed onto another wire, then to wire that new wire to your switch. Another way is to connect your positive lead and a separate pigtail into the ring connector on the fuse block, then run the pig tail to the switch. It may take a little tinkering, but the result is FAR WORTH the effort. I would also strongly recommend the Blue Sea Easy ID Fuses. If you blow a fuse, it has a small LED that lights up letting you know that you lost that fuse.
