Tasty but rather expensive
These are tasty snacks, albeit rather expensive at the time of writing, working out at almost £1.35 each. They are small, but very dense and slightly sticky. To eat, they are sweet, and a mixture of chewy and crunchy. I found the first taste reminded me of popcorn, although there's no corn in these. Maybe it's the mixture of syrup and sea salt, which would be similar to popcorn. I can taste the nuts. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the texture of the "nut butter centre", as I imagined finding a kind of paste inside. But the "butter" is well-integrated with the whole, so you don't get a sense of biting into some kind of mush.I like them. Although the low calories are a selling-point, I think they're quite high-calorie for their small size, but they're quite stodgy and satisfying ("stick to your ribs", as my mother would say), so you probably won't feel the urge to indulge in too many at once.In percentage terms they are relatively high in both fats and sugars (24.4% and 19.7% respectively), but they are 23.1% protein.Being both vegan and gluten-free is a bonus for those who have those dietary restrictions.I'm not sure I'd get them regularly, because of the price, but I'd certainly be tempted if they were on offer, and open to exploring the other flavours too.

Delicious
I bought 3 versions of these. The flavours were Cookie Dough, Caramelised Biscuit, and Maple Pecan Cashew. With the exception of the latter, they all have a peanut butter core and taste quite similar. Note that unlike a lot of these "protein ball" snacks, these are shaped as one big lump, rather than smaller individual pieces. They are essentially pieces of flap-jack, so if you've tried that, it gives you an idea of what to expect from the general shape/texture.I'll share my thoughts on each flavour, below:Cookie Dough: The first one I tried and probably my favourite. Soft, moist, lovely peanut butter core. The cookie dough is well-balanced with the peanut butter, and it's just generally very easy to eat. So much so, I ate two packets in one go....Caramelised Biscuit: These taste similar to the cookie dough, but are more like a traditional flap-jack. The biscuit is shaped in little pieces, mixed in around the outer coating of oats. The core is still the same peanut butter. Not as soft as the cookie dough flavour as a result of the biscuit, but still very enjoyable.Maple Pecan Cashew: This one differs in that it has a cashew/nut filling, rather than peanut butter. In reality, they taste pretty similar. The outer coating is a maple/pecan flavour, and tastes quite different to the other two as a result. As someone who loves maple pecan bakes, this isn't a bad thing. Texture wise, it's a cross between the cookie dough (softest) and the biscuit (hardest). Again, these will definitely get eaten quickly in our household.Overall, they're probably the nicest of those protein-marketed bars I've tried here on Amazon. Everyone here enjoyed them immensely and they come in a nicely packaged box, which protects the individual sachets from getting squashed in transit.

Nope… not for me! But colleagues liked them.
I’ve never had anything from this brand before. I actually got these to try as my partner and I are very much into our high protein diets and always on the lookout for protein ‘treats’ for our packed lunch boxes. They have a fairly long ‘use by’ date which is handy.I liked the fact that they were individually packaged, but I initially thought they were 35g packs containing several small balls, not one huge ball, which I personally think would be better as nibbling snacks. The pack actually contains one large ‘ball’ of chewy gooey nutty stuff, which not only tastes weird (like a slightly dry peanut butter with small crunchy pieces of nuts on the top, and a horrid aftertaste), but also looks like it belongs somewhere on the Bristol stool chart! They are actually quite high in calories (157) and also in saturated fat (1.6g) for the 35g size. My partner didn’t like them at all either and took the rest of the box in to her work (a leisure centre) where several of her fitness instructor/lifeguard colleagues tried them.Surprisingly, the 4 people who tried the protein balls at work, actually liked them!Concluding that it really is down to personal taste and preference.

Bounce Plant Protein Maple Pecan & Cashew Balls
I picked up the Bounce Plant Protein Maple Pecan and Cashew Balls for my wife and I who are heath enthusiasts and protein fanatics. We're always obsessed with checking protein levels in everything, so I knew this would be right up our alley. I was genuinely impressed with the taste of these bars. They're not only 100% vegan but also surprisingly delicious. They have a nice blend of sweetness and nuttiness, with a squidgy nut butter centre that makes each bite enjoyable. There are twelve 35g packs in each box, each one individually wrapped to maintain freshness and are perfect for on-the-go snacking. At under 160 calories per serving, they offer a guilt-free snack option that’s both nutritious and tasty. We both like these - me even more than my wife and I give them two thumbs up!

Poor packaging produces protein pancakes
Bounce is a great product but don’t waste your money buying from this retailer. They tipped them all into an envelope and sent them through the post that way, with the entirely predictable result that they all arrived squashed. And it can’t be returned apparently. Slow handclap.
