I use square for my inventory and I was not about to spend $235 on a scanner “just for square”. I’ve searched and searched to find a decent priced scanner that wasn’t going to break the bank. Well I found it!!!!-Easy to use-No software to download-works with my MAC (make sure you have a usb-usb/c adapter) if you don’t have USB port on your laptop.-scanning is so easy an effortless!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The scanner is functional and easy to setup. The price is reasonable. Trigger is lite and gentle no hard push is necessary.

The product came as packaged, I didn’t need to do any setup with the exception of setting the scanner on my checkout and plugging it in. As soon as I plugged it into my square hardware it scanned product without me having to put in any codes or anything. I will say, a few days after having it the scanner was “working” but square wasn’t picking it up. I called customer service for assistance and they tried trouble shooting, surprisingly he asked me to unplug my square hardware and plug it back up and that’s what caused the glitch. The scanner works perfectly, sometimes the square hardware glitches with it which is surprising because square recommended the scanner. The customer service agent did confirm that there are “fake” versions of this one but mine is legit and he was surprised at the price. Great buy, And yes I would buy it again.

We've had great luck with the Symbol 2200 line of scanners for many years, including the ones produced by Motorola and now Zebra. This device required a quick feature program to make the scanner insert a carriage return after entering the barcode string. The programming barcodes were included inside the quick install guide. This will remain our de-facto barcode scanner.
