Great product. Ask me again after the warranty expires
Does exactly what it says on the tin. There was just one bolt short for putting it together but when I emailed the company about it, they sent me a pack of 6 within a couple of weeks. Nobody's perfect, but their response was. Very happy using it, easy to construct, easy to use, easy to clean.

Laughably small, but packs a punch
I was surprised by the size of the parcel, which by the way arrived a day earlier than Amazon said it would. The machine wasn't packed very well, painted parts sat on others which caused some minor scratches in transport. Seal ring for the two drum halves was very badly folded.Assembly took me about 2 hours, mainly because I didn't pay too much attention to the instructions and lined the drum halves up wrong. This was because a) I'm quite arrogant and 2) I'd been drinking.I'd recommend using a clamp to squeeze the seal down when assembling the drum, and to hold it in place with a screwdriver when tightening. It's also worth noting the paddles might not be bent correctly, and the pictures I found useless, that's why I've added a picture to try and help others.Other annoying things: M8 screws using 12mm A/F one side and 14mm on the other. I've added a picture of all the tools I used to assemble.I added lock nuts where I could in case it vibrates itself apart.A personal recommendation would be to assemble the stand first, then build the drum on it, to save your back!To use, the drag handle is pretty much useless, and I'd add a plank of wood to to the foot to help stabilise it and to give a purchase on the tilt handle. As other reviews have stated you won't get a barrow under it but a bucket fits fine.My father-in-law, a long-term groundsman, giggled at it's tiny size when he came round to show me what to do with it, but was impressed by the actual capacity: we got a whole bag of chippings in, half a bag of sharp sand and enough cement to make a good mix. The motor with this load, about 50kg, didn't struggle at all.I plan, once my garden is sorted, to sell it on, so in theory at least it'd cost less than hiring for a few weekends. All in all, you're not going to build a hospital with this, and the assembly might drive you mad, but for under £180 you're getting a perfect odd-job machine, more than capable to sort a driveway or path.

Good for small jobs but not sturdy.
This is a half size cement mixer so ideal for small DIY jobs. It took me under an hour to assemble but you need to read instructions carefully and in full. Aligning the bolt holes for the mixer paddles when assembling the drum is easy to get wrong. The rubber seal is a bit fiddly but does fit well if you make the effort to hold it in place while securing the drum halves.I have added a 2 foot length of 2*3" timber to the foot of the mixer to improve stabity. It seems quite expensive for what it is given full size mixers cost only a little more.It suits the jobs I need it for and does not take much space to store. It is very noisy due to the way the hopper acts as an amplifier for the noise of the metal cogs. My neighbours children said it sounded like the TARDIS when I was cleaning it out with gravel.

Cheap Mixer, Cheaply Made, Issues explained below
The media could not be loaded. Review is for the Product only, not delivery or seller. As you can see i have yet to use the Mixer.Alright, so I needed a cheap mixer for a small 2mx3m base for a summer house. I wasn't expecting tradesman standard, it is a cheap small mixer, and I set my expectation as thatHere is a summery of what was wrong.-Bent foot from Bix.-Bolt holes for mounting paddles in the wrong place (different to instructions)-cheap start/stop with poor contacts-broken start stop housingI didn't mind the bent foot, it's just an annoyance really, but being new it shouldn't have been there. The bolt holes for the paddles are in the wrong place on the top half of the barrel, requiring me to have to bend and force them in place to get them mounted (even with the bottom fixings loose as instructions state)As you can see from my video, the contacts in the start/stop do not hold. I'm a fully qualified electrician who deals with pumps, motors and controls daily so I opened it up. The housing was broken for starters, but looking at the unit it's clear its very cheap. The contacts were bent and arcing making poor contact resulting in it not holding in as it should. Luckily for me I have the skills and competence to bypass and change this out for a safer operating start/stop.Ideally I'd send this back for a replacement or a refund, but my project needs to be completed in the next 2 days and would not get another in time. Please note that this review is for the product Only.
