The Prank Device That Won’t Stop Beeping for 3 Years

If you want to disrupt work, this will do the trick. I set it to mimic the sound of a smoke detector when battery needs replacement. I placed it under a bed of pebbles which housed fake plants at work. It was also under the smoke detector. It caused enough confusion that my coworkers kept looking up at the smoke detector when it was really right under their nose. It caused one of them to call maintenance. I took it out the next day. Will wait a while before I do it again.

Im glad I purchased this. I was gonna use it on my toxic boss but I got sick and had to quit before i got the chance. So I used it on a roommate last year ego I gave 30 days to move out. Long story short, she was gone by day 9. Now I have some noisy neighbors who live under my balcony. They make noise everyday between 5-7pm. I'm going to place this outside everyday and let it do it's magic. Along with fart spray.

Perfect little prank machine. Works even better when you hot glue a magnet to the back! But you didn’t hear that from me.

This only makes annoying noise one beep intermittently. I had an old one that works better but I had absent-mindedly threw it away, and have not been able to find the same one!

Where to start...I purchased this to prank my office staff. The ladies in the office are a ton of fun, always joking around and having fun, and absolute rockstars at their jobs. They're meticulous and detail oriented, not much gets by them...The kind of environment you enjoy working in, work hard play hard. Enter the little tiny noisemaker. I hid it in a decoration located centrally between the 3 offices, but closer to 2 of them with the beep muffled ever so slightly by it's hiding place. The hiding place was key, due to the short duration of the beep which sounds like a smoke detector alert, it makes the sound very non-directional and hard to pinpoint. That combined with the logic in the board that guarantees there's no rhyme or reason to the frequency of the alert made for the perfect 2 week run of mayhem.It started out as a minor annoyance, but the search escalated quickly. I of course helped them look for the mystery beep, pulling down smoke detectors, checking batteries, unplugging appliances that might possibly be the source. Nothing seemed to help. I checked in with them periodically to see if the noise had abated and even suggested a couple times that they may just be imagining the beep. They started recording the times that it would beep, to try to decipher a pattern that might lead to solving the mystery. I encouraged and supported their efforts the whole time, being as helpful as I possibly could!I announced my prank in the weekly company meeting which got a ton of laughs, and am now walking on pins and needles because I know retribution is coming my way...100% worth it! Do not use this on someone if you're not prepared for them to plot revenge.I can verify that the beeping is as random as could be for anyone that needs to explore their diabolical side, this is a great way to go.5 stars, highly recommend.

3 year battery is no joke. I bought this in May 2022 and hid it in my boss' office. It was still chirping when I went in to work this morning In May 2025. It seems expensive for what it is but if you enjoy the long burn pranks, just get one.

I was disappointed with this prank device, even though it did everything they said it would. It was easy to change sounds and simple to turn on/off. I chose the “cricket” sound and placed the device in the room where my family would be. It doesn’t go off very often, but when it does, you could hear it with no problem. The sound I chose sounds like a cricket, but it also resembles the alert from a smoke detector when the battery needs to be changed. I let it go on for awhile without saying anything, but when my sister started saying they needed to get the ladder from the shed and check the battery. I had to admit I was attempting to play a joke. It didn’t work out the way I wanted, since I envisioned them searching for a cricket and this never happened.

Month 18 of operation aggravate the boss.He is slowly but steadily loosing his mind.The entire office has searched for source of this noise and has even called in maintenance to remedy the dilemma. They are all pulling their hair out. There are currently no plans in place to alleviate their suffering. The operation is still underway and has thus far been deemed a success by us low life peasants whom they do not suspect.
