Great sandwich press! Buy it!
What a great purchase! I was going to buy a cheaper one but this one caught my eye. I am glad I bought this sandwich press, it's larger than most of the cheap ones meaning I can use normal size English bread and it doesn't stick out of the machine. It can fit sandwiches that are fully packed with stuff. It's easy to separate the triangles. You can tell it's a good quality item. It heats up pretty fast and it has light indicators when the food is ready. Don't buy rubbish, buy this instead!

Honestly I'm happy with it!
I searched for a while to find a toastie maker that would be deep fill and not get grease/cheese and other fillings trapped inside - this always seems to be a problem with the cheap ones. The good points of this toastie maker are that first of all it does hold a decent amount of filling meaning you can fill your toasties with a decent amount. It also cooks fairly quick, within 10-15 minutes once preheated and toasts the bread nice and evenly. It's easy to clean and doesn't have holes/compartments for the grease to fall into which is something I was specifically looking for (previous toastie makers had these holes and it's just impossible to clean) and the non stick seems to be holding up well after multiple uses. I'm also a fan of the kind of seashell shape it leaves! The negatives would be first of all, as stated in the other reviews it will only fit quite large slices - smaller bread can be used but it doesn't give you a perfect seal meaning your sandwich opens. If you're in the UK I've found Warburton toastie bread fits in this machine perfectly. Secondly if you do manage to have some cheese leakage it tends to go into the line between the plates and the rest of the maker which can be hard to get out. Plates aren't removable either which would make it easier to clean, you have to flip the whole thing uspide down to clean it properly.Overall it has a few minor drawbacks but for the price I think this is a really good toastie maker. I'm happy with it and would definitely recommend. With the bread suggestion above it makes pretty much perfect toasties.

Toasties at their very best.
If you like a toasted sandwich, then this is the one for you. I enjoy making my own choices as I enjoy different tastes, so why not have a go?

Amazing
Makes amazing toasties. I used blue warburtons bread & it fits fine. Sandwich all sealed. If you’re having 2 sandwiches, if you’re having tuna & cheese, you need 2 tins of tuna & lots of cheese, one tin isn’t enough for the filling. It’s definitely deep fill. Makes them in about 10mins. Easy to close, easy to clean, it’s 100% none stick. It’s not too heavy. Very easy to use. Well worth buying

Dreadful.
After only 18 months of relatively infrequent use, the non-stick coating has become badly peeled resulting in bread sticking to the plates like glue and rendering this machine completely incapable of making a toastie and therefore functionless. Photographs taken on its way to the bin. Very disappointing. Avoid!

Better quality, same problem
The non stick coating was working really well, this one lasted a good 2 months before the middle started going and now every time I make a snackwich it sticks in the middle so have to take it out in pieces. I might order these every 3 months just for the peace of mind of being able to make an unbroken snackwich. So far this machine was an improvement on the design of the previous one which had even more areas to trap bits of food in, the non stick of the previous brand did not last for long, it's a pity that you cannot buy spare parts for the plates, or recoat the non stick, though the latter is possible it has been shown to be poisonous or so the internet says.Seems to be sufficient heat output, easy to wash, but again keeps sticking in the middle now and time to replace is fast approaching.
