HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is a great addition to you DnD games. It helps immerse you into the world you are in.PROS--Comes with a nice durable tube for traveling and storing-Can use dry erase markers one it. (4 colors with it. Red, Black, Blue, and Green and eraser)-Comes with 4 straighten clips which helps a lot with map trying roll back up without them-A two pack is more than enough for almost any terrain. (No lava zone but you got red marker for that!)-It has a Compass (cardinal directions) but not labeled which is great so you can add it in yourself!CONS-It is a bit bulky storage. Thick cardboard-Straighten clips are only for long sides. The short sides do curl up a bit so had to use props to hold down-Maps are reverse sides. So if you wanted to put 2 maps together you couldnt match forest and beach at same time.Closing NotesEven with those few cons I still give this 5 stars! I have used this on many games so far and plan on continuing to use it as long as I DM. It is plain which gives enough freedom to place props where I want without the background being to setup with making paths that I dont want. The markers are a great addition to these maps to add shore lines on a beach, adding circles for freezing zones, red squiggles to mark a spot for fire walking for your group, or what ever you need. (like I did for my lighthouse One Shot) The only thing that annoys me a little is that the ends that do not have the straighten clips bumps up a bit but even that is not a big deal cause I fill my map with random stuff to add more to the world. Great Item. Well worth the price! If you DM GET THIS!

The designs are really nice. I bought this not even realizing it had the straightening clips which are amazing! Now I don’t have to find 4 heavy objects to hold down the corners. Dice had a couple small blemishes in the paint job for the numbers but that’s not a big deal. I have not tried drawing and erasing yet but otherwise, 10/10

Easy to wash off and redraw on, but ink sticks while playing. I use Vis-a-Vis markers instead of the ones that come with this. In case it's not clear, it's 3 mats, front and back. After a while the edges start peeling a little from the plastic supports, which you must use if you store rolled up or else it won't lay flat.

I have only used them once so far and everyone loved them!!Pros: The slide rails definitely make a difference. We were able to start using a mat as soon as we put the rails on (1-2 mins). The battle mats look amazing, they are double sided so you get 6 terrains (2'x3'). The mats seem fairly durable...however, only time will tell. They are dry erase and come with 4 dry erase markers, 1 eraser and 6 dice. To top this off it all fits in a travel tube that is included.Cons: The tape used to keep the tub closed was extremely strong causing me to tear the graphics on the travel tub when I was opening it. This isn't a big deal but the tub looks alot better with the graphics. The battle mats are slightly difficult to take out of the travel tub. Even now it makes me nervous pulling them out. I can't help but to feel like I might tear or make a big crease in them. You have to be careful when putting the rails on. If you are not the edges on the mats will definitely show wear with just a few uses of the rails.Bottom line: I think these battle mats are awesome!!! They are definitely a great addition to our campaign. I would definitely be willing to reccomend them to a friend.

I got these for my husband who gm's 2 games! The maps are great to use for any terrain! They travel well and clean up nice! They are very durable!

The maps are exactly as shown and even come with markers and an eraser. They roll up and can be stored in the package they are sold in.

These highly detailed game matts really bring my players games to life! These ground pictures are exactly what we needed. I like the environments they chose. The pictures are very good. Love the laminate coating. The company sends them to you in a scroll tube so they arrive undamaged. Even though I didn’t have to, I went to an office store and had these matts further laminated for protection and allow them to remain completely flat at all times.In the future be great if they did one with trees and rocks for the Shadow Plane. Also be great to have a Greek style temple with pillars. The temple could actually be used then in two ways. One, it could be the ruins of one the characters are exploring. Or two, it is a modern temple the characters are visiting in a town or city.
