Best investment yet for our fifth wheel
This saved us on first trip. With a one year-old trailer we never really thought about the necessity of a tire pressure monitor but decided to buy one because we were making a long trip from Texas to Wisconsin. On our way into Wisconsin driving through heavy rains. We ended up running over parts of a broken shipping container on the freeway that we were unable to avoid And it wasn’t five minutes later that the alarm went off and we had a flat. We were driving, we didn’t notice anything different and this really saved us money because we would’ve just kept driving.

Great system for tire safety
This is my second system. I needed to add four more tire sensors and at the price charged for just the sensors, I upgraded to a new monitor and mounting head with 4 sensors for just a little more. Please be aware the system can take a while to cycle through all tires to check pressure once you turn it on.The system works great in my motorhome, however , I’ve used this on three different motorhomes, five different sets of tires , and each passenger inner dually tire sets the sensor off as the tire heats up. I’ve not had a blowout in 100,000 miles of use, but the sensor gets annoying. We live in Arizona so it’s VERY HOT. I reset the sensor to a higher tire pressure ( 83 instead of 80) and this gives me just enough fudge factor to keep the sensor quiet. But I do constantly keep an eye on it.

Easy set up
It was very easy to set up! So far as I can tell it is very accurate.

Great product with room for improvement
I have literally tested FOUR different (non-brand name) RV TPMS systems prior to this one. Not one of them would hold a consistent signal nor would they tell you when they lost the signal meaning that the data they displayed was stale and absolutely useless... even the one that came with a booster. All huge disappointments. I finally bit the bullet and bought this more expensive, brand-name unit, and while I'm not thrilled with the price, I finally seem to have an RV TPMS system that works reliably! Yea!Because ALL of the brand-name RV TPMS systems cost even more than this one, I won't ding it for its price, but it does seem like this should be a lot cheaper. But yes, based on my experience with the others, I am happy and I would buy it again.Room for improvement:As many have said, it can be hard to read if there's a glare on the screen. The display is nice and fairly bright, but it just can't compete with the glare. Either an anti-glare coating might help or a little shade hood. The way it connects to the window mount is very tight and I'm always afraid I might break it.The USB cord goes in very tight and I'm always afraid I might break it.It seems no one, not even Tire Minder, has come up with a way to simplify the user interface - but I guess that might require adding a couple of buttons or a pixel-based screen (why not? At this price, it should!) Twice while setting it up I got into a weird state where I couldn't quite figure out what to do (and I had a career in software UI) and had to do a factory reset and try again. It's not that bad once you know what you're doing and everything is working, but it's not hard to get messed up. I ended up with one tire on a separate page than the other three but was able to re-do it. I hate when they overload the functionality of buttons - the POWER button serves multiple functions depending on when and how long you press it. And could they have not put the temperature reading on the same screen as the pressure?I thought I was getting a kit for tires up to 110PSI (I forget where I read it, but it must have been the product page) but when it arrived it had a 65PSI sticker on it. Which is fine for my 22' travel trailer, but if I ever moved up to a 110PSI motorhome, I'm not sure if this would work. So, again, in summary - far better than the no-name competition and a better value than the other brand names. I would recommend it based on the current state of the options, but they could stand to improve a few things or lower the price a bit.

Reduce stress and worry with these...
I had heard too many horror stories of what damage a tire that loses pressure can cost you. For instance, a neighbor that went on a cross country trip, had 2 blowouts. The second one, the tire ripped off the screws and nuts and went rolling into the desert. They never found the tire!! The Tireminder allows you to monitor the change in temperature and pressure so you can hopefully detect a problem before there is a catastrophe. I looked for other brands that had internal sensors and could not find something, so I got this external sensor unit. It works for me even without the extra transmitter on my 21 foot trailer. ALso you can replace the sensor yourself easily if needed without taking the tire apart. Must have.

Great Product-Saved Us From Having A Blow Out Twice
Highly recommended item. We just bought this TireMinder product prior to a recent trip we took on 08/03/2024 to New Mexico which is almost 800 miles there and 800 miles back home. We felt lead to buy it and so very thankful for purchasing it now. On the way there, we experienced low tire pressure issue on 1 of our driver side front tires on our 2022 Voltage Dutchmen 40' Toy Hauler. All happened very quickly. Thankful we were able to get off the road safely once we receive the warning off the transmitter to change the tire in a parking lot. While on the trip, we had the tire fixed at a tire store and put it back on the trailer. Then coming back home, we experienced low tire pressure once again on the same tire. Once again, all happened very quickly. Unfortunately, we were not able to get off the road fast enough, so the tire got changed on the side of the highway shoulder. We had to call the police for traffic to be diverted since some drivers show no mercy. If we had not bought it, then we might have been in a world of hurt with lots of damage to the trailer and possibly had an accident due to impact. Everyone should have one of these as it is worth the money.
