Works fine just wish it was a tad bit longer (stick out further) so that the charging cord for the computer didn’t have to bend so much when plugged in.

Ideal for MacBook Air with a case
Some cases will prevent a slim line hub from plugging in all the way. This adapter gives you a little extra space so you hub will work perfectly.

MacBook Pro case needs this solution
You thought you were brilliant when you bought that laptop bump case for $20 to protect your expensive MacBook Pro. But you also bought that USB-C dock for the left side ports. When you try to add the dock when your case is on, it doesn’t positive lock and your dock is useless. You are sad.But if you buy the extender and add it to the dock, the dock now clears the 2mm thick case and plugs into your MacBook Pro like it was meant to. This solves your problem, and you are now actually very smart.
