So good that I now give it as a gift
Have used it for over a year and can honestly say that I don’t know how I ever cooked without it. No more guessing. Now I know exactly how much I have overcooked something by! :) I love it so much that I plan on giving it as a housewarming gift to my kids if they ever move out of my house. REALLY looking forward to giving them this tool as a gift!!!! If you are on the fence about buying it, I would say def buy it……it is well worth it. Now that I think about it, I gave it as a Christmas present in our family grab bag last Christmas and my brother-in-law thanks me every time he sees me. Not sure if he really likes it that much or if he is starting to get forgetful and doesn’t remember thanking me previously….He always says the same thing, “Did you get me that temperature gauge thingy? Oh gosh, thank you so much. I love that thing!”There you go, 2 reviews in one. Good luck! Oh, and another thing….the fact that it is magnetic is so cool. I could have cared less about that when I bought it and now I love that! Buy 2, one for you and one for someone you love.

A Game-Changer for My BBQ Nights
I picked up the ThermoPro TP19H Digital Meat Thermometer on Amazon for my weekend grilling sessions, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a solid addition to my kitchen gear. I’m just a regular guy who loves cooking for family and friends, and this thing has made checking temps on steaks, burgers, and even candy for the kids so much easier. The design is pretty slick for the price (I paid around $20). It’s got a long, foldable probe that keeps my hands safely away from the grill heat, and the display lights up nice and bright, which is great when I’m grilling in the evening. The screen flips automatically depending on how I hold it, so it’s super easy to read whether I’m using my left or right hand. Plus, it turns on as soon as I open the probe and shuts off when I close it, which saves the battery. I’ve used it for a few months now, and the included AAA battery is still going strong. It reads temps crazy fast—usually in 3 or 4 seconds—and seems accurate. I tested it against boiling water and it was spot-on at 212°F. Whether I’m checking chicken, frying oil, or even making caramel, it handles everything I throw at it. The temp range goes from really cold (-58°F) to super hot (572°F), so it’s versatile. I also like that I can lock the temp on the screen to read it after pulling it out of the meat.Cleaning is a breeze since it’s waterproof—I just rinse it under the tap. The magnet on the back sticks to my fridge, but it’s a bit weak, so it’s slid off a couple of times. My only real gripe is that it feels a little plasticky, and the button to release the probe took some getting used to. I was worried it might break after a while, but so far, it’s held up fine. For the money, this thermometer is a steal. It’s not some fancy chef tool, but it gets the job done without any fuss. If you’re like me and want something reliable for grilling or cooking without spending a ton, the TP19H is worth checking out. Just don’t expect it to feel like a $50 gadget.Found this on Amazon, and prices/reviews were based on what I saw there.

Life saver
My family and I were on vacation for a week and realized we had forgotten our food thermometer, so I hopped on Amazon to have one sent to our vacation spot. It arrived in two days and saved us for a few nights while we were there. The temperature display is adequate and I would say average for the size thermometer. Temperature readings come out very quickly compared to how long we used to have to wait with older thermometers. I liked the back lit display which made reading temperatures easy at night. An additional bonus that this thermometer has is that the temperature rotates on the screen. So if you have it One Direction and flip it over to the other direction, the reading on the screen rotates to the right side of orientation. It makes reading temperatures out a glance a lot easier instead of having to decipher it upside down. The thermometer was also priced right and I feel that it was good value for the money spent.

Accurate and Easy to Use
I recently picked up the ThermoPro digital meat thermometer and have been impressed overall. The temperature readings are fast and reliable; ideal whether I’m grilling steaks or roasting a chicken. The backlit display is clear, and the hold function is a lifesaver for checking temps mid-cooking.That said, there are a couple of small annoyances. The fold-out probe can feel a bit stiff at first and takes some time to get used to rotating smoothly. The build quality feels solid, and battery life has been great. I've used it for several BBQ sessions without needing a replacement battery. Overall, this ThermoPro is a great tool for home cooks and grill enthusiasts.

Magnet is not good
These type of thermometer are great. That said This one is good too. But the magnet in mine has begun to lose its strength. It won’t hold to the side of my range hood where I keep it usually. Other than that, this is a fine thermometer.

So Good, that I Got Two!
It is packaged and constructed excellently. Performs great and gives accurate temperature readability. I really like the feature that can lock the temperature and that the screen flips to stay upright when taking temp readings at odd angles. I also like that it shuts itself off once you retract the probe to its closed position, which is great since I have a bad habit of not switching these types of thermometers off by a standard on/ off button after use. I loved it so much, that I purchase a second one to remain in my BBQ area.

EASY TO READ ♦ FAST ♦ ACCURATE
This digital thermometer features oversized digits with high contrast, making the display exceptionally legible — a valuable asset for these 74-year old eyes. The build quality is impressive: the casing feels robust, components appear securely housed, and the overall construction suggests durability. Assuming calibration holds, this ThermoPro TP19H Digital Meat Thermometer should offer more reliable readings and a longer service life than its predecessor, which was recently decommissioned and subsequently transferred to the municipal solid waste disposal authorities.
