I am a karaoke host and need to set up and tear down my system 3 nights a week. This quick release system has saved me time and energy. it's sturdy and easy to use. It took about 5 minutes to install it on my tv and stand.

Works great, but the release tab is made of plastic and can break easily.

I have used the quick release Vesa mounts for my 24 inch Lenovo monitors as well as my 22 inch U Perfect monitors. This product works as described. It provides a sturdy mount for my alternative stands and does not get in the way when packed up for travel. Happy about the purchase and the functionality it provides.

For how luxury ergotron tries to paint itself, for this item to have its most important part made out of plastic is embarrassing. The plastic bent out of place on first use and any trying to press the plastic release tab feels like it will break instantly. Go with the vivo branded one instead and it’s cheaper too.

I was looking for a product which would allow me to mount a TV outside and then quickly release it for indoor storage. There is very little on the market for this. I ended up purchasing this device and using it for my TV. I used this in conjunction with the Husky mounts 200 x 200 VESA adapter Kit purchased here at Amazon. I used the hardware in the adapter kit to mount one end of the ergotron to the adapter plate. I used Loctite on this hardware which screwed in perfectly, then cut off the extra bolt length and ground down the bolts alittle more using a Dremel tool to allow adequate clearance. The other end of the Ergotron I mounted to an Echogear full motion articulating TV bracket also purchased from Amazon. I used the hardware in the VESA adapter kit which also worked perfectly (bolts, washers, and lock nuts). The echogear was mounted to brick and I am able to now move the TV in and out of the house without difficulty. The first few uses have been perfect even though this is right at the weight limit for this device. I recognize this is an extreme adaptation of this device, and I’m not sure what the longevity will be, but so far It was worked great!!

Needed an inexpensive but durable mount for a 24" flatscreen (LED-Westinghouse) television to mount outside under patio/awning. Also wanted to be able to easily remove the TV and take it into the garage so I bought two however, the mounting bracket is not "Quick release" so I also bought the "Ergotron Quick Release LCD Bracket (60-589-060)". This bracket fit perfectly with the Video Secu LCD Monitor Mount. I was able to attach the "Ergotron bracket to the TV and the mounting bracket to the Wall mount. Holes matched up on all mounts. I Purchased two of the Wall Mounts and Ergotron Brackets (might use one for my other wide screen=32"). Now I can easily pull the TV from the mount and take it inside during bad weather or snap it into the other TV Mount & Bracket I put in the garage. Product seems well made and stable. Release lever/button (you push the lever/tab/button down and slide out the bracket) is a little funky and is plastic. This will probably break if experiencing a lot of use but doesn't really matter because the lock is unnecessary anyway because you can see from the photo (if mounted correctly) the TV's weight holds the bracket in place and it cannot slide "down". You have to slide the TV up, to dislodge the bracket (keep in mind when mounting so you have room above the TV to "lift up" when removing.

Ordered a few of these, and the plastic tab seems brittle as they sometimes snap off if belt a little bit too far.The plate also sometimes has trouble locking in place on some of them.I ended up replacing all of these Ergotron ones with the all-metal quick release adapters from ViVO, and I haven't had any issues with those.
