So far so good, get what you paid for
Hi! I'm a 16-year-old high school student.I don't need this computer for heavy gaming like Call of Duty, Rogue Company, etc. I play lighter games such as Osu, The Sims, and Minecraft. I also do digital art on Clip Studio Paint and I edit videos on programs such as Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas Pro. SO, if you're looking for a review that covers how well it handles gaming this is NOT the review for you.I'd also like to mention that I am also very tech-savvy. I know what's right, what's wrong. I will also be keeping GREAT integrity in this review. These reviews for this product seem scattered and it makes me question if people are lying to get their money back which wouldn't be surprising.I'll be covering the quality of the products included in this product, how the computer works on its first day and I will be doing an update after a week, a month, 3 months, and so on.It is now November 8th, I just got my computer. There are no scratches, no damaged products whatsoever. The computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse were all packed safely. The keyboard is sort of cheap but thats expected with a deal of all of this for only $200+. I wasn't using the keyboard anyway. The mouse is smaller than I expected but I am also not using it. Right off the bat, the only problem was the monitor not being as advertised. I don't really mind the monitor, if i’m being honest but I’m sure other customers would. On start up, everything went smoothly. It turned right on with ease as well as the monitor. It was ready to use right out of the box. The computer is hardly noisy. It’s actually quieter than a small laptop I was using before.First day use: The computer itself runs smoothly, I’ve been downloading programs with ease. The only issue I’m having is the wifi. It’s connected but sometimes it disconnects from my wifi and I’m not exactly sure if its the computer or our router. We restarted it and it continued to do the same thing. I’ll have to do some messing around and see if placement is the issue but so far, it hasn't been a major problem. Will be back in a week to update.Little over a month:I said i'd be back with more reviews but school has been CRAZY. Anyways, the computer is still running very well. The internet issue went away. However, recently the usb stopped working on me somehow? But that was an easy fix. I got another one from a tech store. What i've come to find out is that MY computer didn't come with a graphics card. It was an intel hp 2000(?) and it doesn't support openGL, so it couldn't even run MINECRAFT. There is a slot inside of the tower to enter a graphics card & I recently just ordered one so hopefully it's compatible with the PC and it runs smoothly. The computers runs very well, not bad enough to complain about but having the upgrades would be nice. I'll come back once I have the graphics card and see how it runs then.

Refurbished? More like ReFABulous.
I bought this refurbished desktop thinking, “Well, it’s probably been through some things—like I have—but maybe it still works.” Let me tell you: this thing booted up faster than I do on coffee and mild panic. It runs smoother than a con artist in a rom-com. No weird noises, no mystery errors, no haunted startup screens—just clean performance and that fresh-reformatted feel. I half expected it to come with a motivational poster saying “You’re doing great, sweetie.”Was there a scratch? Yeah, maybe. But I like my electronics the same way I like my friends—flawed, but loyal. It’s currently powering my life: work, binge-watching, and the occasional deep dive into conspiracy theories at 2 a.m. Honestly, I might name it. Thinking something strong, like "Carl."Bottom line: if you're on the fence about buying refurbished, jump off and sprint toward this deal. It’s dependable, budget-friendly, and not emotionally needy.

quite flakey
FEB 2025 UPDATE: Absolutely does not work any more. Bluescreens at every boot, tells me it has to repair itself, then tells me the repair failed. So I got a few months' use out of this, and now it's junk. And of course Amazon changed the vendor for it before I'd even received it, so now no recourse or way to contact the vendor who provided it. Amazon seems to change the vendor for this quite regularly.JAN 2025 UPDATE: This thing is getting flakier all the time. Increasingly tells me the operating system has a problem and has to be rebuilt.DEC 2024 UPDATE : This thing is flakey as heck. I only use it occasionally. Once I get it going, it seems to work, but getting it to come up can be challenging and take hours. Sometimes it won't recognize the keyboard, so I switch which port the keyboard is plugged into. Sometimes it won't recognize the mouse, so I switch which port the mouse is plugged into. Numerous times, it comes up and tells me the operating system has errors and it has to rebuild it. Thus far, sometimes after numerous reboots, it does eventually come up.The current price is also FIFTY PERCENT more than it was when I bought this a few months ago (just outside the return period). The current vendor is also different than the vendor when I bought it, so I don't even know what vendor I got it from, so I can't even contact the seller about the issues.AUGUST 2024 ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought this as a dedicated PC for my laser engraver in my shop. So now I don't have to disconnect everything from my laptop (that cost about 10 times what this PC cost) just to use the laser. It came promptly, well packed. Easy setup and plug-in. Everything works just fine. Lots of ports. I had to change it from UK English to USA English, but that was about it. The USB wifi was weak, but I was in a marginal wifi area, so I solved that by using an Ethernet cable direct from the router. For what I paid for it, it's a real bargain. It's an even better bargain now, as Amazon changed the vendor I bought it from to another one that's charging $11 less than I paid.

All you need in a computer system at a very reasonable price.
I was looking for a new computer that had windows 10 or 11 installed. I found this one reconditioned at a very good price. It had a monitor, keyboard, mouse & all the cables included with it. Shipping was fast, & the seller helped me with a question I had about it. It works fine, but sometimes there is a loud hum coming from it. I have decided that that is just this tower's way of working when you have it download something to it.
