iTAG Bluetooth proximity, key finder, selfie button

This product is useless. It either doesn’t work or I don’t understand how it works. The problem is the instructions are minute and it disconnects from my Bluetooth as soon as my iPhone is away from the tracker device.The most ridiculous item to find lost things. It can’t even find itself.

Not sure,keeps switching off.,hard to connect again

I've hooked it up with a raspberry pi and homebridge and i use it to set scenes in my house. it's great!

Looking at the photos I was expecting 5, so be aware it is only 1, the finding alarm is pathetic and cannot be heard from another room

Useless, couldn't get it connected. So now just sits in the cupboard. 😒

If you know the secret of how to use it, this is a great tracker for keys, wallet etc... The device is a ble beacon, which lasts a whole month on a cr3032 button cell battery. When you turn it on it beeps and flashes a blue light a few times. Press again for a few seconds and it beeps and turns off.Simply use the app 'Bluetooth Finder' to track the iTag signal strength and you will find what room your keys etc are...If on a keyring, wallet you have to stop the button being accidently depressed, which will turn the beacon off, so wrap it in electrical tape to prevent this mark in your calender to replace the battery every 4 weeks. Ideally the iTag battery would be bigger.The usual software apps recommended like iSearching for use with it are rubbish.
