Wires are thin .... but I bought a second lot
I enjoy amateur electronics and whilst using a couple of “teach yourself” MAKE books, I’ve built quite a few circuits on Breadboards. My old pre-cut kit was of a thick wire strand which didn’t always easily go into the breadboard, but also didn’t bend easily.These wires are considerably thinner, and consequently do bend easier, but not so easy that I didn’t buy a second set. They’re also much easier to insert (assuming the breadboard allows insertion – occasionally I use a thicker jumper wire to “soften” the breadboard socket).At the end of the day there is a trade off between easy insertion / bending and difficult insertion / rigid wires.Whilst I’ve learnt an easy way to create my own jumper wires using a technique from the MAKER book, sometimes I just can’t be bothered, and pre-cut wires are such a nice shortcut if you can afford them.That’s why I’ve given 4 stars, yet still ordered a second kit.BTW, the insulation appears to be a good quality, as does the wire bend / strip. Mine did arrive fairly well mixed as the supplied case id definitely not shake proof. 😊

Very good cables
I have used this cables many times and they served me well in all the projects as they make it more tidy.They come tweezers that are very high quality and help removing the wires.

Alloy is off strenght
Unfortunately, I have to give this a less than stellar review. Whilst I needed a large quatity of wire for some circuits I was working on; which this fulfilled nicely, unfortunately I was let down by the alloy.The tensile strength of the alloy used in these wires is particularly soft. On test breadboards the alloy strength has difficulty beating the resistant of the breadboard seat.More often than not the wire bends, as its hardness is not strong enough. I have to nurse the wire into the connector by wiggling it.Disappointing alloy strength.
