I didn’t contact this seller nor plan on reaching out for any type of refund or compensation. For this, I’m giving a 5 star review. Great customer service! And I’m excited for my son to try out his new net.Net appeared to be sturdy and I bought this since it was compact and could easily be carried in my son’s fishing bag. Unfortunately, it snapped in half the first time he used it. I’m giving 3 stars because he hooked an 8 lb trout and I believe under different circumstances this net would have been just fine (smaller fish). I don’t regret the purchase, but will be looking for something more sturdy to replace this one.

Granddaughter used it to catch tadpoles and minnows in a nearby creek to populate a home pond. Worked like a charm, including the fold down mechanism.

Rip after first use. I use it to catch a few of my chickens and they manage to make a hole after first use. Should be durable to catch the animals knowing they are going to resist. The length is good just wish it last longer

Good size net with solid build quality and reasonable durability for the price. I really like that the handle collapses and the frame folds, making it compact and easy to carry—perfect for backpack fishing or small-space setups like a canoe or kayak. Not sure of the exact weight limit, but it handled a 5lb catfish (pictured) with plenty of room to spare. Great value for what you pay. 10/10 for compactness and convenience.

I am only giving it one star because it won’t allow me to leave it zero stars. I bought one for my son who loves to fish. It broke at one of the handle joints within minutes of the first use just dipping it in the water. I thought it was a fluke, so I replaced it for an identical one. The same thing happened to the second one. They use cheap glue to hold the joints together that make it extendable. Absolutely terrible quality of a product.

First use and metal part connecting netting “loop” to the telescoping handle snapped.Update:Company contacted me and offered another replacement. I was surprised for following up and a great service, received a new item, which is a different model. It seems as more robust and netting is way better.
