These are great. I use them on the car. Honda put the usb ports in an area you put loose items. So having cords come straight out is impractical. We now have these in and the cords say out of the way.

Solid construction. Passes power for charging. I use these in the car as the USB power ports are tucked away in very hard to get to locations. These adapters point the charger cord in the correct direction and allow me to close up the caps / lids properly. Nice selection provides plenty of options.

I really only needed one type, but the variety pack was the same price as one or two. The various orientations, angles and genders let me play and find the one that worked best. They don't affect performance or power. They are plug and play. Just find the one that works best, install it, and forget it.

I use my laptop a lot in my recliner chair and plug various USB items on the sides. I worry about being the plug in the laptop sockets. I found these side plugs that take that worry off my mind. It comes with 4 plugs of which 2 fit one direction and 2 the other direction. Facing towards or away. Very slim fitting. Worst the price of not wearing out your laptop plugs.

I use the USB port on my company laptop for my job.My employer buys cheap laptops with USB ports that become loose after a couple months of connecting the cables in/out of the port. In addition, I use the PC for data acquisition in a vehicle.If the USB connection comes loose, I lose data, time, and may have to perform the work over again.These devices provide a way to connect a USB cable to the laptop without the cable dangling off the side and damaging the cable/port if the PC gets dropped on its side.It also avoids wearing out the port on the laptop.If the port on the adapter gets loose, I can just plug another one into the PC's port.The male connector on the adapter is pretty good and seats nicely into my laptop's port after bending the tabs (on the laptop) into a good position to keep the adapter seated correctly.There is no data transfer loss or anything using the adapter. I have tested it and everything performed as expected.

Great variety pack and I honestly love the connection quality. Transfer speed is on point, the functionality and fit is great especially for the value for money.

Worked perfectly, on older laptop using a Wifi dongle, to prevent accidental usb port damage. Doesn't extend any farther then mouse dongle.

I have purchased 10 packs of these connectors to use in some computer manufacturing line stuff. About half of the ones I have installed have failed. I am only using them for data rates of 115200 on a USB iot device. They look ok but have quality issues internally.
