Perfect Blender- Easy to use and clean!!
The media could not be loaded. Perfect! I am from India and we love our spices, we get customized mixers and blenders to prepare our food in India. But I had a hard time finding one here. My friend suggested this blender and yes it is perfect. It will not start instantly as soon as you plug it in like other blenders which always scares me. This blender has a button to start and stop, making it safe to use. You can directly use the container to drink off your smoothies or juices. I have used blending blades for making smoothies, and juice with ice cubes. used grinding blades to ground coconut, peanuts, and lentils and it works perfectly for everything. It is totally worth the money as it comes with 6 containers which are awesome with individual lids. It is also a space saver with lightweight, you can easily carry it and place it anywhere in your kitchen. The containers are very easy to clean.I would highly recommend this blender for everyone who wants to have customized flavored drinks in their individual fancy cups. This is totally worth the money!!.

I love it EDITED
EDITED, A FEW MONTHS IN, AND I STILL LOVE IT, BRILLIANT.I need something new, more powerful, the one I have is brilliant, but it is very very old, and it does not crush berry seeds, which that can be very off-putting, and I may have decorated the kitchen with it a few times.....I know, I know, the husband covering himself with an umbrella is a big clue, out with the old, in with the new, like a new years day.So I got my Elite Gourmet EPB-1800, I love it, simple to use, very easy to clean, powerful and it crushes them seeds, I love that there is all them cups, the grey foam around the cups is really no biggy, I dunno why people are making a fuss over it in previous reviews, I imagine when I make something with ice in, them grey thingys will be good. All in all, great value, it does what the expensive brands do. no complaints here.

NOT what you want to make a smoothie with
This looked like a good deal, and if the blender unit itself was better quality, it would be. However, there are too many negatives and this morning it ended up in the trash. I have owned it for two months and used it almost daily. I've not been impressed with the loud volume of it, plus you have to continuously shake it around to keep it blending as it just pushes the most solid things way from the blades and they don't return (like ice or frozen fruit chunks). Not to mention you aren't supposed to use it by keeping the on button pressed, so it takes forever to blend in tiny bursts. Burst blend, shake, move around, burst blend, shake, move around, repeat. Ugh! It has now begun leaking some sort of a blackish grey greasy fluid out of the unit itself. Not going to take a chance on it catching on fire, so in the trash it went. I'll keep the cups because those are handy. Such a disappointing purchase.

For the price this cannot be beat!
My husband bought us one of these back in 2009 and I used it religiously almost daily for 6 years. Even now the original base is going strong, and I have 3 of the cups. But the cups wear out, and I lose a few of the lids. Just regular use and leaving lids in cars/gym etc. Dropped one cup on the floor too SO I bought another, and I'm just as happy! This set just cannot be beat for the price. As much as I'd love a nutribullet etc I don't see the point when this MaxiMatic has more stuff for a much lower price. And honestly I think the cups/lids are better designed.I use this at least 4x a week for post workout shakes. Sometimes just with protein powder, but most often with a banana, coconut water and frozen blueberries. It says not to use it with ice and it definitely does struggle with big frozen fruits (big strawberries) but smaller fruits like blueberries or chunks of fruit have been fine! I have also used it with crushed ice and it's fine too.Another use I found for these is making my own salad dressings. The little cup is perfect for that! Oh and chopping nuts too! Great for adding chopped nuts to cereal etc. I will say I've only used the flat blade once in 6 years and not really sure what that's for? lol. The cross blade attachment works great for everything!Honestly I've been using this brand since 2009 and never had a problem. I see from the reviews a few others have had issues but hands down this has been the best blender I've had. Definitely recommend. Plus PRIME shipping makes returns easy!

Just what I was looking for
I purchased this blender 4 months ago for $19.99. I have a son who requires all his food to be pureed, so I needed something that would hold up to frequent use. My traditional blender was too large and hard to clean, so I was pleased to find this blender. It is small enough to be convenient, but not so expensive that I was taking a big risk. Since it arrived, this blender has been used 2-3 times a day almost every day. I have not attempted to crush ice with it, but it has handled everything from pasta to raw vegetables to frozen fruit to meat with ease. I blend everything to slightly thinner than pudding. After reading other reviews, I do not wash the cups in the dishwasher, but clean-up is very easy. The rounded cups allow me to remove almost every drop of puree, unlike my old blender. I feed my son directly from the small cup, so I save on washing other dishes as well.My only complaint would be the durability of the plastic. Both the plastic on the blade attachments and the plastic of the cups have more flex than I would like, and it feels like they could crack if they were tightened too much. One of my large cups has some small cracks in it, although I think that was caused by blending food that was too hot. I regularly blend warm foods with no problem, and the small cup, which I use most frequently, is still going strong.Overall, I have been very pleased with this purchase. The motor has held up well and the size is convenient. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable. I would personally like to have more than one small cup included, but the larger cups work fine for small batches as well. If you would rather not spend $50 on a personal blender, I think you will be pleased with this one.
