The product I got was real or indeed looked like that. The inside of the shell has marks/ stains of where the powder once stood. [although I will admit its a bit of a mystery how they got the powder out without igniting it. maybe the bullet was pulled and re-installed???].It is a good item with the exception of not being shiny at all and having no case. I could pass on the case/ bag; but it not being shiny for a presentation of a gift warrants a lower star rating.

You know the saying "this bullet has your name on it" yeaaa think about it before you gift it to someone lol My boss looked at me funny ;)I order it with the small case which look cool as heck, definitely worth the extra money. Bullet is very sturdy, 100+ bottles opened and still counting. Doesn't show any wear yet.

Made a great Christmas gift! Very unique gift that was really appreciated. With it being a .50 cal, it's a great size and comfortable to use.

The product was almost identical to my stash of Lake City ammo.The only drawback was that the bullet wasn’t seated to the proper depth. This is probably just a quality control thing so you’ll likely fair better than I did. However it works great and I’ll try to keep it as long as I can.

Took 15 days to get delivered but it was worth it, my boss will definitely love it.

it gives the regular guy, who never swerved in the military a incredible real life thrill and size of a 50 caliber shell and what that round could do used against a human!!! As weell as a great conversation piece!!!

I've never had a real 50BMG in my hands but the casing appears to be real and previously fired judging by the slight flaring out at the neck. Plus some burned residue still inside it. The bullet is fake (light and you can hear it's hollow when you flick it), but why would it need a real one - this one seems to be nicely made with no machining marks left and the colour looks like fresh copper. It's held in the case solidly.As for its bottle opening abilities, it does a great job; I was worried the brass would be too thin/soft to be durable enough but it bit the top off my bottle tonight as if it was nothing, and I'd imagine will continue to do so for many years. And it just looks awesome on the shelf!
