Beautiful Inks!
One of my teenaged grandsons is an artist who put these on his suggested gift list.I was pleased to purchase them for him because I know the quality of Winsor & Newton products from my own days painting in college. He was pleased beyond measure with these beautiful inks ~ saturated colors, ease of use.He uses the inks to color his black line drawings to great success.Highly recommend!

Perfect Assortment for Illustration
Very nice assortment of ink pigments, perfect for creating illustrations. Worked well with watercolor and colored pencils too.

Excellent inks
I used these inks on Arches Watercolor paper and I can honestly say that I am quite pleased with how well it looks afterwards.

The emerald is blue!
These are very nice inks but I’m telling you, I bought the Henry collection and the emerald is straight blue, maybe I’m tripping, pretty sure I’m not. Also someone said these inks aren’t for fountain pens, dead wrong, use em for whatever you want. :) just make sure you buy an extra green if you get the Henry collection.

I love these and want more!
I was worried that I was going to have a mess to deal with based on some of the reviews and having bought it during winter (Christmas) but I didn't. I do suggest if you live in weird climates wait to open until it's reached your ambient temp. It helps a lot. Especially going from cold shipping to a warm home. If you struggle with the cap just run it under hot water for a moment, the using a towel gently and carefully twist the cap off with a towel your not worried about. It should come off easily if you're stuff is stuck. It happens and is normally even with use. I found this out as I was beginning my calligraphy journey. The colors are wonderful and I would love to purchase more as I want to do illuminated text art and fantasy work with these!

Disappointing colors.
Henry Collection Emerald is not green, it's intense blue. Canary yellow is a watery beige. Other colors are nice. For some bottles you need a pair of pliars to get the cap off.

Vibrant, versatile, nice presentation, nice to mix and blend and good price.
The media could not be loaded. I bought Henry Collection pack and love the vibrancy of colors. I bought them for painting and nib pen and modern calligraphy. I was hoping I could use them for lineart before watercolors but, as you can see in the video, all of them (except for the black) bleed. Brown doesn't bleed too much, so it can work if you are careful not to brush heavily on top of it.Things I really loved is that you can mix them to create new colors, you can also blend them while applying (like the green/blue/yellow on the leaf of the video) and they can dry as smooth blends (although it dries fast). When diluted with water you can create soft pastels which are still vibrant. The way they look reminds me of copic markers, so I will use them as a cheaper alternative.Because of all the uses I can give to them (painting with them similar to watercolors, or for calligraphy or even instead of alcohol ink markers), I would definitely recommend them. Also because of how pigmented these inks are.I have noticed that some reviews mention that a bottle leaked. In my case, it was sent to NY, then it traveled to Finland and my inks arrived in perfect condition. I'm really happy with them!
