It lets you plug GameCube controllers into the Nintendo Switch. It does what it is supposed to do, for a much lower price than the official one.

IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY
Just plug it in and it works, I was worried I’d have to mess with some system settings or something but nope it worked as soon as it was plugged in, I'm using this for smash Bros and it just works so perfect with my GameCube controllers from back in the day.

Item arrived with scratches, but works.
I needed a GameCube adapter for my switch, and I wasn’t ready to shell out $30 for the official one. This adapter works well for my Wii U, Switch, and Dolphin Emulator for PC. Reason for 4 stars is item was received scratched. Otherwise, great adapter with a ~6 foot cord. on a budget.

Bought it to use my og gamecube remote for SSBU. Plugged it into the switch dock, plugged in the remote, works great.Can also be used with PCs which is a bonus.

Allows use of the game cube controller on different platforms
Purchased for my son. He bought it to be able to use his game cube controller on different platforms. He said it’s a really useful peripheral and works as it should.

Smash bros galore
Works as intended. Wish it didn't take up both usb slots so I could use a 2nd one and have up to 8 gamecube controllers playing smash :D
